This is a take-out specialty Japanese sweets shop famous for its Onigawara Monaka, which is based on the onigawara tiles that were excavated from the ruins of the Dazaifu government office.

"Catalana" is very similar to creme brulée, and has a taste similar to ice cream and pudding. Usually the surface is caramelized, but at this shop it is not seared, and it is enjoyed like a cake with various sauces.
