This time, we will introduce a popular steak restaurant in Tosu City, Saga Prefecture.

Free refills of rice and soup! Oyaji no Steak (Tosu City, Saga Prefecture) is a teppanyaki steak restaurant where you can customize your meal to your liking

Oyaji no Steak is located about 45 minutes by car from central Fukuoka City, along Prefectural Route 17. It is a popular local restaurant, where you can enjoy their carefully selected steaks with unlimited rice and soup. On the day I visited, the restaurant was full, even though it was near the end of lunch time.

It's about a 12-minute drive from Tosu Premium Outlets, so it's a great place to stop by after shopping.

The interior of the store is filled with the warmth of wood, and the light streaming in through the large windows is very comfortable.

There are also sofa seats, so it is easy to use even if you have small children.

You order through the touch panel ticket machine. The owner will explain everything in an easy-to-understand way, so even first-time customers can feel at ease.

"Beefsteak" (100g, from 1,250 yen) is aged red meat. It is prepared using sake lees, giving it a soft texture. "Nakaochi diced" (100g, from 1,200 yen) is a chewy meat with a strong flavor cut into easy-to-eat pieces.

In addition to the high-quality "sirloin" (150g, from 2,600 yen) that allows you to enjoy the delicious fat, and the owner's recommended "loin" (150g, from 1,800 yen), we also offer homemade "bacon steak" (100g, from 1,200 yen) and "hamburger steak" (120g, from 1,180 yen) with different flavors and aromas.

You can add 80g of extra meat to each of the "Beefsteak," "Diced Pork Chop," "Sirloin," "Loin," and "Bacon Steak," and another nice feature is that you can customize it to your liking with toppings such as "Topped Hamburger" (450 yen), "Big Frank" (250 yen), and "Cheese" (200 yen).

What's more, all menu items come with rice and soup, and you can have as much of both as you like!

By the way, until 3 p.m. on weekdays, you can get a 200 yen discount off the grand menu price.

The chicken and burdock rice is filled with extra large pieces of chicken and plenty of burdock. The slightly strong seasoning is the best.

Apparently some customers come just for this, so it's no wonder there are so many repeat customers.

The soup is beef consomme soup. It was so delicious that I had to have seconds!

By the way, children under elementary school age can eat as much rice and soup as they want for free if their guardian orders meat.

Very satisfying! An exquisite steak that is both filling and energizing

This time, I ordered the chef's recommendation.

This is "Beefsteak" (150g, 1,800 yen) with "Extra Bacon" (80g, 780 yen) added (total 2,580 yen).

It's served rare, so you can press it against the hot plate and cook it to your liking.

You can add your favorite seasonings from the rock salt, herbs, black pepper, garlic soy sauce, or Japonaise sauce available on the table.

The meat is lean, but thanks to the sake lees it is soft. I enjoyed the meaty flavor. It's also fun to be able to change the flavor halfway through.

Personally, I love the Japonaise sauce ♪ It really brings out the sweetness of the cabbage and bean sprouts.

The homemade bacon was very fragrant and tender and was a big hit with the kids.

Not only is it tender, but the burnt fat is sweet and melts in your mouth. The aroma is irresistible.

If you're not sure what to order, you can't go wrong with loin!
