[Takamiya New Store] All-you-can-eat bread! A standing-only izakaya (Fukuoka City) where you can quickly enjoy Western-style deli and wine.
Hello! I'm Yumi Kuroishi, a writer who connects the city of Fukuoka with its people.
This time, we'll introduce some noteworthy new establishments where you can enjoy a quick drink on your day off or after work!
Located right next to Takamiya Station! Takamiya Sandy is a standing bar serving Western-style deli food and wine (Takamiya, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City).
A 1-minute walk from Nishitetsu Takamiya Station.
Opened on January 30, 2026, "Takamiya Sandy" is a standing bar based on the concept of "deli drinks from lunchtime," where you can enjoy Western-style deli food and reasonably priced wines by the glass.

The interior, with its warm wooden accents, can accommodate up to approximately 20 people. Surrounded by large glass windows, it offers a bright and open space.
The central display case always features about 10 kinds of Western-style deli items, such as "Roast Beef Deli Salad" (490 yen) and "Sandy's Potato Salad" (390 yen).
You can eat in, or take out even if you're ordering just one serving. The deli menu changes daily, so you can enjoy new flavors every time you visit.
Three types of burgers—"Chicken Nanban with Unlimited Tartar Sauce" (550 yen), "Tandoori Mackerel with Spicy Pickled Mustard Greens" (500 yen), and "Shredded Chicken and Salted Kelp Cucumber Salad" (450 yen)—can also be taken out as hamburgers for 500 yen each.

In addition to the deli items displayed in the showcase, there is also a wide variety of eat-in only menu items.
The menu includes eight types of "Original Bruschetta" (from 275 yen) that pair well with wine, as well as appetizers such as "Chicken Liver Terrine" (429 yen) and "Western-style White Salad with Seasonal Fruits" (429 yen).
Furthermore, they offer a wide variety of dishes, from hot dishes such as "Taro Root White Gratin" (649 yen) and "Grilled Kagoshima Prefecture Rokuhaku Pork" (759 yen) to "Bolognese Pasta" (869 yen).

Enjoy it with our recommended dishes! All-you-can-eat bread is included as an appetizer.
One of the attractions of "Takamiya Sandy" is that the complimentary bread is all-you-can-eat (the complimentary bread costs 330 yen per person).
The selection of bread changes daily, with a wide variety available including baguettes, focaccia, melon bread, and chocolate-based breads. When the bread on your plate runs out, the staff will randomly add new bread for you.

On this day, they were offering focaccia with a crispy exterior and chewy interior, soft and sweet French bread, and croque monsieur, a fragrant and rich ham and cheese toast.
While it's great to enjoy it as is, they also recommend ordering the "Original Bruschetta" and putting it on top.
This time, I ordered the original bruschetta, which was recommended by the restaurant staff.

First up is the "Scallops and Salmon Roe with Cauliflower Sauce" (495 yen).
The plump scallops are accented by the salty, popping texture of the salmon roe. The mild cauliflower sauce gently brings everything together, enhancing the delicious flavors of the ingredients.
It pairs well with bread and is also a perfect accompaniment to wine.
The "Garlic Shrimp with Tartar Sauce" (275 yen) is a satisfying dish featuring stir-fried shrimp with a strong garlic flavor.
The addition of rich tartar sauce gives the dish a mellow flavor, making it very satisfying when spread on bread. Its robust taste also makes it a great accompaniment to alcoholic beverages!
Don't miss the popular "Western-style meatballs, Polpetti" (275 yen each) from the hot food menu.
This dish features meatballs with a meaty texture, generously topped with a rich Bolognese sauce. The flavor intensifies with every bite, and it pairs perfectly with a full-bodied red wine.
The fact that you can order just one is another great point.
Glass wines start from 660 yen – great value for money! 8 varieties available, including white, red, and sparkling.
The featured wines are available by the glass only, starting from 660 yen. Their affordable price makes them easy to enjoy. Since the wines are carefully selected to pair well with the food, we recommend trying several different kinds.
When I visited, they were offering three types each of white and red wine, and one type each of sparkling wine and orange wine.

On this day, I ordered the red wine "Appassito" (660 yen) to go with the "Polpetti (Western-style meatballs)." Its rich fruity flavor and crisp finish complemented the deliciousness of the dish perfectly.

Takamiya Sandy, where you can casually enjoy Western-style deli food and wine, is part of the Atmos Dining group, which also operates several popular restaurants in Fukuoka such as Shokudo Umeboshi and Robata Italian FESTA. You'll be impressed by the taste of the food and the great value for money.
