[First time in Fukuoka] Gelato Pique cafe opens in Tenjin! Limited edition crepes available for lunch too!
Hello! I'm Hakata Aya, a writer who loves hot information about Fukuoka.
This time, we will introduce the long-awaited popular cafe "gelato pique cafe Solaria Plaza store," which is making its first appearance in Fukuoka.
Gelato pique cafe Solaria Plaza branch opens in the heart of Tenjin! (Tenjin, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City)
Gelato pique cafe Solaria Plaza opened on January 21, 2026, directly connected to Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station on the first floor of Solaria Plaza. It is the third store in the Kyushu and Okinawa area and the only one in Fukuoka Prefecture.
"gelato pique cafe" is a soothing cafe brand born from "gelato pique," a loungewear brand beloved around the world. Based on the concept of "comfort food," they offer a menu that uses carefully selected ingredients to please both the body and mind in a comfortable space filled with ideas.

The large windows facing Kego Park let in plenty of soft sunlight, making this the perfect location to forget the hustle and bustle of the city.

When you enter the store, the first thing that catches your eye is the many fluffy bears decorated on the lighting fixtures!

Immediately to the right upon entering, there is a sales corner filled with Gelato Pique items and limited edition cookie tins that can only be purchased at Pique Cafe. Further inside, there is a spacious space with antique-style furniture and seating for about 40 people.

On this day, there was a Valentine's Day display, and pink and red items were featured.
The cookie tin filled with Pique Bear-shaped cookies makes a great gift! Collaboration items with PEANUTS were also on sale.
The cafe space is appealing as it is a space where anyone can relax, whether they are with children or male customers. There is also an adorable "bear manager" sitting at the back of the store, and you are enveloped in a warm and cozy atmosphere.
Introducing the featured menu, including limited edition crepes only available in Fukuoka and eye-catching sweets
The menu offers a wide variety of items, including Pique Cafe's signature crepes (starting from 690 yen), galettes (starting from 1,290 yen) that are perfect for lunch, gelato (starting from 390 yen), and drinks (starting from 240 yen). There is also a "Kids Set" (980 yen) that includes a crepe and a drink with a free gift.
One of the most noteworthy items is the limited-edition menu that was released to commemorate the opening: "Hakata Mentaiko and Cheese Crepes" (1,290 yen), a collaboration with "Hakata no Aji Yamaya."

The crepe dough is filled with a rich and smooth cream sauce based on Yamaya's Spicy Fish Eggs, inspired by the local dish gratin dauphinois from the Dauphiné region in southeastern France. It pairs perfectly with the chewy dough!
It also contains mochi rice cakes with a pleasant texture, mellow-tasting cheese, and chopped seaweed, making it a very satisfying dish.

The bear-shaped cheese topping is also cute and makes a great photo!

Another item being offered to celebrate the opening is the Pique Bear Cookie Crepe (1,340 yen), a luxurious crepe lavishly topped with four cookies.

Inside is a mandarin cream made with Setoka, a mandarin orange with a rich sweetness and refreshing aroma, smooth whipped cream, and juicy mandarin pulp from Fukuoka Prefecture.
It has a more refreshing and fruity taste than it looks.

For lunch, we recommend the "Complete" galette (1,290 yen), which stands out for its fragrant buckwheat flour. The delicious flavors of eggs, ham, cheese, and semi-dried tomatoes are layered together, leaving you feeling completely satisfied. *The soba dough can be changed to plain dough.

To accompany it, you can also try the "Coffee Float" (crepe set price + 700 yen, single item price 790 yen), which is a refreshing coffee topped with Pique Cafe's signature gelato.

Take-out is also available, so on a sunny day, you can enjoy a picnic-like atmosphere in Kego Park right in front of the shop.
