[Fukuoka Tonkotsu Ramen] Perfect for lunch or as a finishing touch after drinking! A popular restaurant in Nakasu with excellent side dishes

This time, we will introduce a popular ramen restaurant located in Nakasu, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City.

The long-awaited lunchtime opening has begun! Popular ramen shop "Menya Ichiya" (Nakasu, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City) where you'll inevitably have to queue up

Menya Ichiya is located a 5-minute walk from Nakasu-Kawabata Station on the Subway Airport Line or Hakozaki Line.

It may be a little confusing, but this is where you enter the building.

Originally, it was open only from 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM as a "last ramen" in Nakasu, but from October 2025, it will also begin its long-awaited lunch hours (11:00 AM to 2:00 PM).

There are only 10 counter seats inside the store.

Choose from black or red! Delicious "Char Siu Ramen"

This time, I stopped by for lunch.

The signature ramen menu item is available in either black or red.

This time, we ordered each of the char siu noodles.

I'll introduce them in order.

First up is the ever-popular black "Char Siu Ramen" (1,050 yen).

It is unmistakably Hakata tonkotsu, with a pork bone broth base and thin noodles, but unlike the standard, it looks luxurious and packed with ingredients.

The powerful visuals will get you excited ♪

The soup is rich and has a mellow taste.

The aroma of the chili oil, which is the key ingredient, will whet your appetite.

The large amount of pork slices that surround the bowl are roasted over a burner just before serving, making for a delicious aroma...♡

It's quite unusual, with black sesame seeds and tempura flakes on top, but it's delicious.

It's a satisfying meal to finish off a night of drinking, and also makes a great main meal.

This is the spicy and spicy "Red Spicy Char Siu Ramen" (1,150 yen).

This ramen is made with pork bone broth mixed with plenty of chili pepper sauce, and the noodles are slightly thick and wavy.

The noodles have a firmer texture than the thin black noodles, and the crunchy bean sprouts create a wonderful contrast with the noodles.

It's quite spicy, but more than that it's delicious!

All of the items are reasonably priced and highly satisfying.

This is "Torimeshi" (250 yen).

With just one bite, you won't be able to stop eating, thanks to the texture of the chicken that falls apart easily and the rich flavor of the broth that spreads throughout your mouth.

It pairs perfectly with both black and red ramen, and the side dishes are also of high quality.

It was so delicious that I wanted to come back just for that!

The "Karaage" (400 yen) comes in a pack of three and is perfect for when you want a little something extra.

They're crispy and juicy, and each one is quite large, so they're very satisfying.

These are chicken wings (2 pieces for 350 yen).

The outside is crispy and fragrant, while the inside is plump and juicy. The sweet and spicy sauce is perfectly combined, leaving a lingering, tangy taste that is addictive. It also seems to go well with beer.

Everything is carefully prepared and leaves you feeling satisfied both in your stomach and your heart! Before you know it, you'll be hooked and wanting to come back again and again ♡
