[For breakfast] A new eat-in menu from one of Fukuoka's most popular bakeries that's worth waiting in line for!
Hello. I'm Shou Fujita, a gourmet writer who prefers bread in the morning.
This time, we will introduce a popular bakery in Nishinakasu, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, which is visited by many bread lovers from both Japan and abroad.
Queues are inevitable even before the store opens! Popular bakery "stock (Panstock Tenjin store)" (Nishinakasu, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City)
About a 4-minute walk from Nakasu-Kawabata Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line.
Located within the Prefectural Tenjin Central Park, HARENO GARDEN EAST & WEST is a popular spot in the Nishi-Nakasu area, lined with unique restaurants and bars.
Inside this facility, where a pleasant sea breeze blows, is Pan Stock Tenjin store, also known as "stock," which has gained so much popularity that people line up from early in the morning.

Pain Stock, which was founded in Hakozaki, Higashi-ku, Fukuoka City in 2010, pursues the creation of bread that can be stored and still tastes good through long fermentation periods, and is now widely known as a popular bakery known throughout the country.

"Stock" is the second store, opened in 2019, and is also a collaboration shop with "COFFEE COUNTY," a roaster representing Fukuoka.

By introducing a special oven made in Germany, they are able to produce unique products that are not available at the main store, and it has become one of the most popular stores in Fukuoka, attracting many bread lovers from outside the prefecture and even overseas.
The interior of the store is a harmonious blend of the texture of solid wood and stone, and the dried flowers placed throughout, creating a sophisticated and unique atmosphere.

Over 100 types of bread are dramatically illuminated by warm lighting.

More than half of the breads on display in the store are exclusive items only available at the Tenjin store and are not available at the main store.

The attached coffee shop, "COFFEE COUNTY," offers hand-dripped coffee (hot from 650 yen, iced from 750 yen) with a choice of seven types of beans, as well as cafe lattes (700 yen), soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages.

Drinks can be enjoyed with purchased bread or eaten in the shop.

In addition to counter seating inside the store, there are also covered table seats in front of the store and terrace seats with a panoramic view of the park.

Seats are available on a one-drink basis, and you reserve a seat after purchasing bread and a drink.
Introducing popular products from Panstock Tenjin store!
Panstock's bread is made using domestically produced wheat and is also characterized by being made only with healthy ingredients without relying on food additives.
The most popular item is the "Mentaiko France" (594 yen per piece, 302 yen for half).

This long-ripened baguette brings out the full flavor of the wheat and is generously spread with homemade mentaiko paste, making it a huge hit with many fans coming to buy it every day.
The "White Stock" (whole 486 yen, half 270 yen), which is only available at the Tenjin store, is also one of the store's signature products.

This soft and moist milk bread is made with brown sugar, condensed milk, and honey kneaded into the dough, and is known for being delicious even when eaten as is.
New products from September! Try the dine-in only menu
On this day, I ordered the new dine-in only menu items, "Smørrebrød" (1,320 yen) and "Deli Plate" (880 yen), which were introduced in September 2025, as well as "COFFEE COUNTY" hand-dripped coffee (Perú Quiquira, Puno 650 yen).

Smørrebrød, a popular national dish in Denmark, is an open sandwich made with 100% rye bread called Lovro, and is characterized by its generous pile of ingredients.
Panstock has been making prototypes since last year and is continuing to research how to make a more delicious Loblaw, including undergoing training in Denmark.
Panstock's Smørrebrød will be available in limited quantities from 8am. On this day, there were two varieties: Gruyère Cheese and Tuna Salad and the seasonal Fig and Prosciutto.

"Figs and Prosciutto" is a luxurious combination of seasonal figs and prosciutto.

The sweetness of the figs, enhanced by the creamy paprika sauce, and the saltiness of the prosciutto are a perfect match with the mild tartness of the lobster and sour cream.
"Gruyere Cheese and Tuna Salad" is a hearty dish layered with Gruyere cheese, Dijon mustard, homemade tuna salad, and marinated cucumber.

The rich cheese flavor is brought together with a refreshing basil and parsley sauce.
Smorrebröd is available in limited quantities, but reservations can be made by phone up until the day before, and if ordering on the day, you will need a numbered ticket, which will be handed out in front of the store from 7:50am.
The "Deli Plate" (880 yen) is a plate of four kinds of deli dishes that can be enjoyed with your favorite bread (sold separately). It is available from opening until 13:00 and will end when it runs out.

The four types of food were colorfully presented: moist, soft and mildly salty ``Homemade Loin Ham,'' ``Seasonal Colorful Vegetable Pickles'' with a spicy accent, ``Carrot Rapée'' with a crunchy texture and spicy flavor, and ``Scapece'' made with thick and juicy eggplant and tomato.

For the hand-drip coffee, we chose lightly roasted beans from a farm called Quiquira in Peru.

With its gorgeous aroma and pleasant, mild acidity, this coffee is perfect for a luxurious morning aftertaste.

At Panstock Tenjin store, you can enjoy flavors that you can only find here, surrounded by the gentle murmuring of the Nakagawa River.
This famous restaurant is worth getting up early to visit, as it gives you a sense of anticipation for the start of a special day. (Text by Sho Fujita)
