This time, we will introduce great value lunch and buffet options you can enjoy at the hotel!

[Until January 31, 2026] Chigusa Hotel is holding a "Selectable Set Lunch, Obanzai & Salad Buffet" fair!

Chigusa Hotel, a long-established hotel in Nishihonmachi, Yahata Ward, Kitakyushu City, is currently holding a limited-time "Selectable Set Lunch, Obanzai & Salad Buffet" fair at its first-floor dining cafe, Chigusa, until Saturday, January 31, 2026.

The popular "Kyushu Gozen Series," which uses local Kyushu ingredients and is prepared using unique cooking methods, has been further enhanced. The theme is "authentic Japanese set meals" prepared by a French chef.

All of these meals come with an "Obanzai & Salad Buffet" set. The buffet features 24 different types of obanzai and salads from a selection of around 50, which change daily. This will satisfy your desire to "try a little bit of each of the various side dishes" or "add a salad to your meal"!

The price is 2,750 yen (6,380 yen for the Imari beef steak set meal only). This is a great price for a buffet lunch at a hotel.

Chef Mukaino says, "We started out with the desire to create a Kyushu-style set lunch that goes beyond the boundaries of Japanese and Western cuisine. We have created a menu that allows each customer to enjoy their own unique lunch experience. We also recommend it for meals with family and friends, as well as business lunches."

The meals available include the monthly changing "Chef's Meal," the "Miyazaki Meal Kurose Yellowtail Nanban Meal" which uses brand fish from Shibushi Bay, and the "Fukuoka Meal Genkai Fried Horse Mackerel & Kanmon Pork Meal" which allows you to enjoy fried horse mackerel from the Genkai Sea and grilled horse mackerel from Moji with Yamani miso all at once.

There is also a wide variety of meat dishes on the menu, including the "Oita Gozen Bungo Chicken Fried Meal" made with specially raised Bungo chicken seasoned with ginger, the "Kagoshima Gozen Nanshu Natural Pork Fillet Cutlet Meal" made with Kagoshima Sangen pork, the "Kumamoto Gozen Kumamoto Prefecture Beef Iron Pot Meal" topped with plenty of Kumamoto Prefecture beef roast beef, the "Saga Gozen Imari Beef Steak Meal" made with luxurious Imari beef from Matsuo Katsuma Farm, the "Nagasaki Gozen Domestic Beef Lemon Steak Meal" which recreates a Sasebo specialty, and the "Kyushu Gozen Iron Plate Hamburger Meal (Original, Demi-Glace, Grated Shiso Leaf)" made with meaty Kyushu beef and Nanshu pork.
