A shop specializing in moist and exquisite scones that use a generous amount of fresh cream and are popular as gifts (Ogori City)
Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.
This time, we will introduce a wonderful scone specialty shop in Ogori City.
A lovely British atmosphere! Takeout shop specializing in fresh cream scones, "conne" (Ogori City)
Located in Ogori City, about a 40-minute drive from central Fukuoka, is Arlington Antique Village, a commercial facility offering cafes, sweets, antique goods, and more.

It is a popular spot with an atmosphere reminiscent of a British town.

This time we would like to introduce you to "conne," located in a corner of Arlington Antique Village.

You'll be drawn to the cute exterior.
This shop is proud of its scones made with fresh cream instead of milk.

Currently, eight standard flavors are available: "Plain" (230 yen), "Chocolate" (280 yen), "Cheese" (280 yen), "Oreo" (280 yen), "Salted Vanilla" (280 yen), "Matcha White Chocolate" (280 yen), "Banana Caramel" (280 yen), and "Orange Tea" (280 yen).

There are also limited-time items made with plenty of seasonal ingredients, such as the October-only "Marron" (310 yen) and "Baked Apple" (310 yen). There are basically 10 types of scones on display.

In addition, they sell "Rusks" (250 yen) on an irregular basis, and if you come across one, you're in luck!

Perfect as a gift! Exquisite scones that are both satisfying in appearance and taste
This time I bought 7 different types of scones.

I'll introduce them in order.
plane
First up is the standard item, "Plain" (230 yen).

Image: Yurichan
The rich aroma hits you the moment you bite into it, and it's irresistible! Because it's so simple, you can really taste the deliciousness of the ingredients.
It's moist, so it doesn't tire you out when you eat it, and it doesn't take away the moisture in your mouth.
chocolate
The most popular is "Chocolate" (280 yen).

Image: Yurichan
The dough has a slightly bitter chocolate kneaded into it. We recommend heating it in the microwave for about 10 seconds and eating it while the chocolate is still melted.
Matcha White Chocolate
"Matcha White Chocolate" (280 yen) is characterized by its deep green color.

Image: Yurichan
The matcha flavor is super rich and amazing! Yet it's not bitter at all. The sweetness of the white chocolate neutralizes the bitterness of the matcha, making it easy for even children to eat.
Oreo
Oreo (280 yen) is a must-have for those with a sweet tooth.

Image: Yurichan
The outside is slightly crispy and the inside is moist. The dough is mixed with plenty of crushed Oreos, creating an exquisite balance of bitter and sweet.
It truly combines the best of both cookies and scones...! It's sure to satisfy everyone, from adults to children.
Orange tea
This is the refreshing-looking "Orange Tea" (280 yen).

Image: Yurichan
This item has black tea kneaded into the dough. It has a rich aroma and pairs perfectly with orange. The orange peel also has a nice bitter taste that is irresistible.
Maron
"Marron" (310 yen) will be available until the end of October 2025.

Image: Yurichan
The surface is covered in marron chocolate and the inside is filled with marron glacé.
It has a subtle sweetness and a refined taste. It's overflowing with the delicious flavor of chestnuts. You can really feel the autumn!
Florentine-style scones
"Florentine-style scones" (290 yen) are only available on weekends and holidays.

The surface is topped with crispy, fragrant caramelized almonds, giving it a rich flavor from the first bite. The inside is light and fluffy, and the aroma of almonds spreads the more you chew it.
It pairs perfectly with black tea, and warming it up a little enhances the aroma. It truly feels like the star of teatime.
It just so happened that they were holding a 6th anniversary event on that day, and when you purchased a scone you received a free gift of their new product, "Brick Scone."

Image: Yurichan
Currently, Brick Scone is available in five flavors: Granola, Black Sesame, Orangette, Honey Nut, and Cheese Salami.
I had the granola, and when I took a bite, it was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

The dough is kneaded with crunchy granola, creating a perfect balance of gentle sweetness. The texture changes with each bite, making it enjoyable, and the flavor is simple yet rich.
All of them are highly satisfying in both appearance and taste, and make perfect gifts. Please stop by and check them out. (Text by Yuri-chan)
