Hello. This is Chihilog, a casual website that provides information about Fukuoka and its surrounding areas, with a focus on gourmet food.
This time, we will introduce some special cafes in Imaizumi where you can enjoy acai bowls casually in a variety of situations, such as in the morning, during cafe time, or as takeout.
Breakfast available from 9am! Fukuoka's first acai specialty store, "SUGARY Imaizumi" (Imaizumi, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City)
SUGARY Imaizumi is located about a 7-minute walk from Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station, just off Kokutai Road. This Kyoto-based acai cafe opened in Fukuoka in June 2025.
The stylish pink exterior is a landmark.

The interior of the store is an open space filled with greenery! The plants have been selected to evoke the home of acai in Brazil.
There are table seats and counter seats, and the counter seats are equipped with power outlets for charging.

In fact, since the opening of its first store (Kyoto) in 2024, this restaurant has been a hot topic on social media as "the best acai bowl specialty store made by an old man who has been devoted to ramen for 30 years, has never had a girlfriend, and has no understanding of women's hearts."
I've always been interested in it, so I was very happy to hear that they're opening a store in Fukuoka.
Get in the mood! "Morning Set" from 990 yen
SUGARY Imaizumi store is open from 9:00am to 8:00pm (last order 7:30pm).
A "Morning Set" consisting of baguette, acai and soup is available every day from 9am to 11am.
There are three types of menu items: "Set A (medium-sized acai, choice of baguette, soup)" (1,740 yen), "Set B (medium-sized acai, choice of baguette)" (1,500 yen), and "Set C (choice of baguette, soup)" (990 yen).
This is "Set B".

Set B comes with a medium-sized acai bowl (1,130 yen each), which contains strawberries, bananas, blueberries, granola, and honey.
From the 18 different toppings available, we added pineapple and kiwi (+50 yen each).

The smooth and rich acai and plenty of fruit make this a satisfying drink. It's delicious enough to give you energy to start your day!

You can choose from the following baguettes: "Tomato Basil Baguette," "Prosciutto Basil Baguette," and "Fruit Baguette" (each priced at 690 yen). This time, I chose the "Fruit Baguette."

A naturally yeasted baguette from totcha Bakery, a popular bakery in Kego, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, was topped with Nutella (a chocolate-flavored spread), Greek yogurt, strawberries, blueberries, and comb honey. The gentle aroma of barley was perfectly matched with the perfect amount of sweetness, creating an incredibly delicious treat.
If you order this together with the "Morning Set", all drinks will be discounted by 100 yen! I ordered an "Americano" (usually 530 yen).
They use beans from REC COFFEE, a specialty coffee brand from Fukuoka.

"Custom Acai" that you can enjoy in your own way
In addition to the "Morning Set," you can also enjoy a custom-style acai bowl by freely choosing the size (120g Medium / 180g Full), base, and toppings.
There are five basic types: the classic "ACAI CLASSIC" (Full 1,420 yen / Medium 1,130 yen), which allows you to enjoy the classic combination of strawberry, banana, blueberry, granola, and honey;

A treat of strawberries, blueberries, chocolate, Greek yogurt, granola, and honey: "CHOCOBERRY ACAI" (Full: 1,580 yen / Medium: 1,200 yen),

The "SPECIAL ACAI" is a luxurious bowl filled with strawberries, bananas, golden pineapple, kiwi, mango, blueberries, granola, and honey (Full: 1,600 yen / Medium: 1,230 yen).

The menu includes the "Cacao Bowl" (Full: 1,500 yen / Medium: 1,180 yen), a cacao-based bowl topped with berries and bananas, and the "Tropical Acai" (Full: 1,480 yen / Medium: 1,160 yen), made with a generous amount of tropical fruits.
The base underneath the acai is selected from "yogurt," "peanut butter," and "chia seed pudding."

All 18 types of toppings can be added for just 50 yen, so you can create your own unique cup of coffee to suit the occasion or your mood.
