The skills of a hotel-exclusive pastry chef shine at this patisserie (Fukuoka City) that also serves exquisite parfaits and baked goods.
Hello! I'm Hakata Aya, a writer who loves hot information about Fukuoka.
This time, we will be reporting on the special sweets made by a former hotel pastry chef.
Patisserie D & Co., a hidden patisserie nestled in a residential area (Hiikawa, Jonan Ward, Fukuoka City)
*The official name of the store has an accent mark "circumflex" above the "a"
Patisserie D & Co. opened on August 19, 2025 in Hiikawa, Jonan Ward, Fukuoka City. It is located about a two-minute walk from the Nishitetsu Kaminagao bus stop.
The green exterior is a landmark, and there is a dedicated parking lot in front of the store for three cars, so you can come by car with peace of mind.

The owners, Mr. and Mrs. Yamamoto, have experience as pastry chefs at hotels, and they spent a year searching for this location before opening the shop.
There was a constant stream of customers of all ages, both men and women, visiting the store, and it was clear that it was already a popular establishment.

The store also has an eat-in space with three counter seats, two table seats, and one sofa seat.
The store is decorated in striking green and the stylish furniture stands out.
The warm lighting and dried flowers create a cozy atmosphere that is truly lovely!
Looks and tastes amazing! Try these exquisite sweets
The showcase displays about 15 types of cakes made with seasonal fruits and over 20 types of baked goods.

What particularly caught my eye was the "Bear Choux" (470 yen). As the name suggests, this cream puff is shaped like a bear, with cute round eyes ♡ Kids will love it!

The Hojicha Panna Cotta (530 yen), which is popular among older people, is topped with brown sugar jelly, Hokkaido azuki beans, and warabi mochi sprinkled with kinako, and goes well with coffee as well as tea.

We also recommend the seasonal "Fig Tarte au Toyomitsuhime" (780 yen). This tart is made with luxurious "Toyomitsuhime" figs, a high-quality variety from Fukuoka Prefecture, and its sweetness will fill your mouth.

From here on, I'd like to introduce the sweets I had while eating in!
First up is the new product "Tarte aux Raisins - Shine Muscat" (780 yen), a thick, crispy tart crust lavishly decorated with fresh, seasonal Shine Muscat grapes.

The smooth cream brings out the refreshing sweetness of the Shine Muscat grapes, and the elegant taste is enchanting...♪ It may have looked small, but it was heavy and very satisfying.

Next up is the chocolate cake "Lumiere" (780 yen), perfect for adults. The chocolate sable base has a crunchy texture, and the rich chocolate ganache made with 70% cacao is moist.

What's more, the sweet and sour cassis and raspberry jelly hidden inside adds a nice accent, allowing you to enjoy different textures and flavors with every bite. This is a must-try for chocolate lovers!

The "Vanilla Latte" (650 yen) made with beans from "Connect Coffee" in Tenjin was also delicious.

There are also seasonal special parfaits that can only be enjoyed in the eat-in area! Currently, they are offering the autumn-only "Mont Blanc Parfait" (1,800 yen), which incorporates Japanese ingredients such as fragrant jasmine and roasted green tea.
The next one they are planning to serve is a strawberry parfait. I'm looking forward to that too!

A wide variety of carefully selected baked goods, perfect as gifts!
The store is filled with not only cakes but also a wide selection of carefully selected baked goods. The packaging is elegant and cute, so they are sure to make a great gift!

The "Uji Matcha Sable" (950 yen) has an exquisite balance of the rich flavor of fermented butter and the deep bitterness of Uji matcha. The texture that melts in your mouth is irresistible.

For those who don't like sweet things, we recommend the "Sable Parmesan & Black Pepper" (1,180 yen). The rich aroma of Parmesan cheese and the spiciness of black pepper make this a sable perfect for adults, making it the perfect snack to go with wine or an aperitif.

"Madeleine Jasmine" (320 yen) is a delicate and elegant madeleine that bursts with a gorgeous fragrance in your mouth.
