This time, we will introduce a yakiniku restaurant in Yukuhashi City that is very popular among locals.
Yukuhashi Hormone Ryuan (Yukuhashi City), a popular yakiniku restaurant serving a wide variety of Wagyu beef offal
"Yukuhashi Hormone Ryuan" is located about a 10-minute walk from JR Yukuhashi Station, next to "Teuchi no Aji Koizumi Yukuhashi Branch." The old-fashioned building is impressive.
This is the second store of Yakiniku Ryuan Honten, located in front of Yukuhashi Station, which serves A5-grade Kuroge Wagyu beef. It opened in April 2023 and offers the specialty "Gyu Mabushi" and a wide variety of fresh "Wagyu Offal."
There is a parking lot in front of the store that can accommodate over 50 cars, making it convenient to come by car.

This time we will introduce dinner, which is served from 17:00 to 22:00 (last order 21:30). In addition to the a la carte menu, such as seven types of carefully selected "Japanese Black Beef" (from 1,100 yen) and the restaurant's pride and joy, 10 types of "Wagyu Offal" (from 780 yen),

There are also three types of "Yakiniku Courses" (starting from 3,850 yen) that allow you to enjoy several types of meat. If you order a course, you can also get 120 minutes of all-you-can-drink for an additional 1,650 yen, which is a great deal!

Let me introduce the Fuji Course (3,850 yen/person) that I had this time.
This great value course includes 10 types of meat, including rare cuts, salad, grilled vegetables, and a choice of rice dish.
First up was the "Choregi Salad" and "Kimchi." The "Choregi Salad" was made with fresh vegetables and a generous amount of refreshing dressing, with the saltiness of Korean seaweed as a nice accent. The "Kimchi" had just the right amount of spiciness that was addictive.

Next comes the main meat platter! It's beautifully presented ♡ The photo shows the portion for two people.

The recommended rare cut for the day was the beautifully marbling "Sasanomi" of Japanese Black Beef. It is a part of the belly called the outer rib.

It's incredibly tender, with the delicious flavor of the fat and the sweetness of the meat melting in your mouth.

The two carefully selected offal dishes are "shima intestine" and "maru intestine." As the name "Yukuhashi Hormone Ryuan" suggests, the restaurant is most proud of the wide variety of Wagyu beef offal it serves, so if you come here, be sure to try them!
The "shima intestines" have a chewy texture, while the "maru intestines" have a rich, sweet fat flavor! The more you chew, the more the sweetness and umami of the fat spreads in your mouth, making them delicious enough to go with rice or alcohol.

"Salted tongue" is an essential ingredient for yakiniku. It has a chewy and elastic texture, and the delicious flavor of the tongue fills your mouth.

The pork belly, seasoned with salt and pepper, is also refreshingly flavored with lemon juice.

The plump and chewy texture of the [Chicken Neck] is best grilled until firm, allowing you to enjoy its fragrant and juicy taste.

The beautifully marbled "Kalbi" is very tender and has an excellent balance of lean meat and fat.

The "Nakaochi Kalbi" is characterized by its rich and full-bodied flavor. The meat has a strong flavor and is satisfying to eat.

The set also includes a grilled vegetable platter with cabbage and onions, and seaweed soup.
The final dish is a rice dish. You can choose from three types: "Stone-grilled bibimbap," "spicy soup," and "soup." I chose the "Stone-grilled bibimbap."
It's topped with kimchi, several kinds of namul, meat, and egg yolk, and is beautifully colored.

Pour the sauce provided over the top and mix thoroughly. Spread it on a hot stone pot and cook until it becomes crusty, doubling the flavor!
I was full, but it was so delicious that I ate it all up to the last bite ♡

Our famous "Gyu-mabushi" set meal is also available for dinner!
Another specialty of "Yukuhashi Hormone Ryuan" is "Gyu-mabushi," which is a generous amount of simmered beef served on top of rice.
Until now, dinner was only available as a la carte, but from July 2025, it will be available as a set meal, just like lunch, on weekdays only!
As the quantity is limited and it may sell out quickly, it is recommended to go early or make a reservation. The photo shows the "Extreme Beef Mabushi" (2,680 yen), which is a generous amount of the restaurant's proud roast beef on top of shigureni.
