This year, Hakata Hankyu will once again be hosting a huge gathering of delicious breads and sweets from all over the country.

[September 10th-16th, 2025] "Bread and Sweets Festival" to be held at Hakata Hankyu

The Bread and Sweets Festival will be held on the 8th floor event hall of Hakata Hankyu from Wednesday, September 10th to Tuesday, September 16th, 2025.

This year's theme, marking the 6th anniversary of the event, is "Bread and Sweets HOLIC." The event will feature a selection of addictive breads and sweets that will stimulate all five senses, with crunchy textures, melt-in-your-mouth flavors, and generous portions.

A total of 57 stores will be gathered, including three stores making their first appearance in the Kyushu region and 12 stores making their first appearance in Hakata Hankyu. In addition to the privately-located, members-only parfait bar "Remake Easy," daily bread and popular canned snacks will also be available. You'll be hooked on bread and sweets for seven days, and we guarantee you'll want to come back every day!

[Hakata Hankyu First Appearance and Demonstration] "Remake easy" in Tokyo and Fukuoka

Remake easy, which is making its debut at Hakata Hankyu, is a parfait bar for adults that is "member-only and address is not disclosed." The pastry chef uses seasonal ingredients to create beautiful parfaits that change every month.

You can enjoy pairings of parfaits with cocktails, such as the "Yame Tea Espuma and Kijoshu Passion Rikyu Highball" (1,430 yen, photo left) and the "Japanese Tea and Mango Tiramisu Parfait" (3,501 yen, photo right). Reservations are required in advance, but you can also make reservations on the day if there are seats available.

Crispy! Crunchy! Chewy! I'm obsessed with the texture

We'll be introducing breads and sweets with a variety of textures to enjoy, from crispy to crunchy, chewy, fluffy, and squishy!

[First appearance in Kyushu] Osaka's "coucou amande"

Coucou Amande is a specialty shop that offers a uniquely Japanese take on the French dacquoise. Made with almond-flavored meringue, the dacquoise is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Enjoy a variety of flavors, including the Caramel Macadamia Nut Dacquoise (430 yen).

KAMOGAWA BAKERY, Kyoto

KAMOGAWA BAKERY uses 100% domestic wheat flour for all of its products. Their bagels, which range from savory to sweet, are made with Hokkaido-grown Yumechikara wheat, resulting in a moist, chewy texture that you'll never tire of. The rich flavor of the wheat spreads the more you chew. New products include the Hojicha White Chocolate Bagel, Kawakatsu Sohonke Shibazuke Bagel, and Matcha Anko Mochi Bagel (371 yen each).

[Demonstration] Saitama "Laporta"

The Italian restaurant La Porta in Saitama Prefecture is offering a traditional Neapolitan dessert called "Aragosta," which is uniquely shaped like a lobster's tail and means "spiny lobster" in Italian. It features a crunchy, fragrant pie crust and is filled with plenty of cream. Only 80 pieces are available each day, and flavors include "custard," "fig cream," and "caramel cream" (781 yen each).

Also available is "Panzerotti" (935 yen), a chewy fried pizza filled with meltingly rich truffle cheese, perfect to accompany wine.

[First appearance at Hakata Hankyu] "Kana's Magical Egg Cafe" in Fukuoka

Kana's Magical Egg Cafe's "Tiramisu Ball (Cocoa, Matcha, Strawberry)" (781 yen each) is a round ball-shaped tiramisu with a new feel. The rich mascarpone cheese cream is filled with a batter that has an espresso aroma. It has a smooth texture that melts in your mouth, and when you pour tiramisu sauce on top, the way it pops has become a hot topic on social media.

[Demonstration] Hokkaido "Ezo Fox's Tail"

The "Tokachi Mozzarella Cheese Curry Bread" (432 yen) is made with carefully selected ingredients from Hokkaido. The bread is crispy on the outside and the curry inside is creamy. It is made with a carefully selected blend of spices and ingredients.

[Stall and demonstration only from September 10th to 13th *Until 7:00 PM on the 13th] "MONT-NOM" in Tokyo

MONT-NOM is re-releasing their Pan Swiss Mont Blanc (651 yen, limited to 100 pieces per day), which was a huge hit last year and sold out! It's a delicate and luxurious masterpiece that's just like a dessert.

[Hakata Hankyu First Appearance/Demonstration] Hyogo "Marufuku Balm"

"BAUM POT Crème Brûlée" (540 yen) from Kobe's Baumkuchen specialty shop "Marufuku Baum" is a pot-shaped Baumkuchen filled with plenty of custard cream. It has a smooth, melt-in-your-mouth texture, accented by the crispness of the caramelized surface.

[First appearance at Hakata Hankyu] Tokyo's "Monnaka Dorayaki Dorayaki Dorayama"

"Monnaka Dorayaki Dorayama" is a popular shop in Monzen-Nakacho, Tokyo, that has modernized the traditional Japanese sweet, dorayaki. "An Butter Dora" (390 yen) is characterized by its fluffy and soft dough that is almost like a sponge cake. At the venue, they also sell "An Butter Dora Aburi" (390 yen), which is made by toasting the butter and slightly melting it!

[Hakata Hankyu Limited - Demonstration] Kyoto "Boulangerie Opera"

Boulangerie Opera is a specialty bakery that uses Kyoto ingredients and French methods, and depending on the type of bread, the dough can be fermented for up to three days. This time, they are introducing the Char Siu Burger (680 yen), limited to 50 pieces per day. The melt-in-your-mouth texture of the thickly sliced char siu is accented with refreshing Japanese pepper. It's a very filling burger.

[Hakata Hankyu Limited - Demonstration] Nagano "Mugikobou epi"

Mugi Kobo epi is popular for its "King's Cream Bun." For the first time, they're offering "King's Custard Soft Serve" (583 yen), a soft serve ice cream made with the custard from the cream bun. They're also offering the immoral "King's Thick-Cut French Tower" (1,265 yen), a thick-cut French toast topped with the soft serve ice cream, with only 100 servings available each day.

[Hakata Hankyu Exclusive - Demonstration] Osaka "8・7BAKE SHOP"

8.7BAKE SHOP, a baked goods store with the concept of being a "baked goods store for adults" that offers a sense of guilt and satisfaction with alcohol, spices, and herbs, sells flavorful "Scone Sandwiches" (756 yen each).

You can enjoy the "Earl Grey," a scone made with Earl Grey tea leaves and filled with butter cream flavored with bergamot puree, and the "Balsamic Corrizen," a sophisticated treat made with a fragrant biscuit scone and balsamic corriede butter cream.

[Demonstration] Kyoto "Hatoya Ryoyosha"

"Hatoya Ryoyosha" is a popular tea specialty shop where you can enjoy sweets and drinks made with high-quality Uji matcha. In addition to drinks such as the "Matcha Latte Float" (1,301 yen, photo left) and the "Yasoha Shake" (1,401 yen, photo right), the shop is also introducing "Matcha Dango" (3 pieces for 1,381 yen), chewy rice dumplings topped with rich matcha paste, for the first time at Hakata Hankyu.

During the period, bread from popular stores will be available on a daily basis!

You can enjoy bread from Hinode Pan (Miyazaki), Pois (Yamaguchi), Pan Marche (Miyazaki), and Namonaki Sandwich Shop (Fukuoka), all of which are making their first appearance at Hakata Hankyu, as well as pain stock, loma, rina's gluten-free salon, Pan Marche Mokumoku, MONSIEUR HIRO (Fukuoka), nanarokupain, and kog a BAKES (Saga).
