This time, we will introduce a cafe with a spectacular view in Itoshima City, where magnificent nature and sophisticated interiors blend in harmony.

A must-visit! Stylish coastal guesthouse "bbb haus" (Itoshima City)

About 40 minutes by car from central Fukuoka City, you will find the seaside guesthouse "bbb haus" along Prefectural Route 54 in the Shima area of Itoshima City.

This accommodation facility, which includes shops, cafes, and restaurants, is run by Weeks Co., Ltd., which operates many interior design shops, including B·B·B POTTERS in Yakuin.

The building, which was built in the 1970s as a corporate retreat, was renovated and opened in 2018. By taking advantage of its location surrounded by a national park with an area of approximately 12,000 square meters, the hotel has created an overwhelmingly beautiful space that blends seamlessly with nature.

One of the themes of this guesthouse, which has only five rooms, is "living like you're living there."

All of the furniture and miscellaneous goods in the building, from spoons to chairs and blankets, have been carefully selected for both functionality and design by Weeks Co., Ltd., a company that has been running an interior design shop for many years.

Guests can experience this worldview and slowly appreciate the charm of each and every item during their time there.

The shops and cafes on the left side of the building do not require reservations, so even if you are not staying at the hotel, you can easily drop by during your drive.

Once you open the wooden door, you'll find a shop space filled with the unique style of bbb haus, including everyday items, miscellaneous goods, sweets, and wine that are perfect for the seaside location.

The logo, which is used on some of the products, was designed by art director Kaoru Kasai, based on the motif of Keya no Ooto, a scenic spot in Itoshima, and embodies the desire to "create a place where you can feel the natural beauty that lives in this land."

Surrounded by the sounds of waves and nature! Cafe with a spectacular view "Tea Room"

The "tea room" at the back of the shop is a casual cafe space that is open to anyone, even non-guests.

With gentle background music playing, the space is filled with a pop yet comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, featuring popular Eames chairs and art by Fukuoka-born illustrator Yamamoto Naotaka, adding a sense of design and playfulness.

In addition to table seating and counter seating by the window, there is also covered terrace seating, so you can spend a luxurious time in your own style while listening to the sound of the waves.

The biggest highlight is the magnificent panorama that fills the windows, weaving together the magnificent nature of the national park and the calm sea of Beinohama.

As you gaze out at the sparkling sea bathed in sunlight, you can experience a sense of peace that makes you feel as if time has stopped.

Popular menu items perfect for the seaside! Try the "Lemon Cake" and "Cafe Latte"

The menu mainly consists of daily desserts and drinks such as coffee and tea.

On this day, I ordered the popular "Lemon Cake" (550 yen) and iced "Cafe Latte" (700 yen).

"Lemon Cake" is a limited menu item at "bbb haus," and is a moist pound cake with a gentle sweetness and the pleasant tartness of lemon.

The crispy icing still retains a strong lemon flavor, making this a satisfying yet refreshing treat.

The two-layered "Cafe Latte" made with milk and espresso uses an original blend of beans created by Tomonou Coffee, a coffee bean specialty store in Torikai. The bittersweetness matches the sweetness of the milk, creating an elegant taste.
