Inspired by the preppy look of Korean Dollars! Autumn Sweets Buffet (Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk)

This time, we will introduce the autumn sweets buffet that you can enjoy at Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk.

On weekends and public holidays from September 6th (Sat) to October 26th (Sun) 2025, Brasserie & Lounge Seala on the 4th floor of Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk will host the "K-PREP Sweet Academy - Autumn Sweets Academy," a sweets buffet inspired by preppy fashion.

Preppy fashion, which was popular from the 1940s to the 1950s and was inspired by the elegant honor students attending prestigious private universities, is once again attracting attention as the casual fashion of Korean idols.

This year's buffet will feature preppy-style sweets incorporating argyle and striped patterns, as well as chef-made treats that are adaptations of popular Korean sweets. Enjoy your meal in a nostalgic, academic setting reminiscent of a traditional school library.

The price is 5,200 yen for adults (13 years and over) and 3,500 yen for children aged 6 to 12. Reservations can be made by phone or through the Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk website.

A symbol of a traditional school

This refreshing sweet and sour jelly is made with goji berries, which are also used in traditional Korean sweets, and rose jelly. The inside of the jelly is decorated with edible flowers.

Calligraphy with a quill pen

The pie is topped with plenty of toffee, made from boiled sugar and butter, and bananas. Evoking the image of calligraphy on a canvas, the lightly sweetened whipped cream is decorated with wing-shaped chocolates.

Sweet memories of the evening

This jelly is inspired by "Baejub," a pear drink that has long been loved in Korea. Pears are slowly simmered, seasoned with honey and black pepper, and topped with pine nuts.

It is inspired by the Korean dessert "Palmicare," which is made by layering pastry dough and baking it, then drizzling it with chocolate. The crunchy texture of the pie, chocolate, and dried fruit go perfectly together.

Sweet Square

This cute chocolate cake features a chocolate-flavored sponge cake filled with sweet vanilla cream and coated in bitter chocolate, and is decorated with an argyle pattern that is symbolic of preppy style.

An Essay on Croissants

This dessert is made by spreading lemon cream with a refreshingly sour taste on a croissant, then covering it with meringue and baking it until it is fragrant. The croissant contains 30% butter compared to the amount of flour.

This is an adaptation of the "glass cake" that was popular in Korean cafes. It is a cute-looking dessert with layers of fresh cream, fresh mandarin oranges, and moist sponge cake.

With the school emblem

This cookie, an adaptation of the Korean sweet potato dessert "Kogumanpan," resembles the school emblem. The dough, kneaded with purple sweet potato powder, encases a sweet and moist sweet potato paste.

In addition to around 20 types of sweets, including those introduced above, there are also six savory dishes available, including "yangnyeom chicken," "japchae," and "kimchi Korean seaweed potato salad."
