This time, we will introduce a sandwich specialty store in Watanabedori, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City, which also serves breakfast.

Open from 7:45! Sandwich specialty store "Sandeli" (Watanabe-dori, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City) produced by "Tabegoro Hyakushunkan"

"Sandeli" is a handmade sandwich specialty store located next to "Tabegoro Hyakushunkan Watanabedori Main Store" in front of Exit 2 of Watanabedori Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Nanakuma Line. It was produced by "Tabegoro Hyakushunkan," a supermarket directly managed by "Fukuya," the original manufacturer Spicy Fish Eggs, and opened in October 2023.

The sandwiches are handmade in the store every day using plenty of fresh vegetables delivered to Tabegoro Hyakushunkan from the market every day.

There is a sidewalk right next to the seats, but it is surrounded by olive trees so you don't have to worry about people looking at you.

Until now, the station has been open from 8:00 AM, but from July 1, 2025, it will open 15 minutes earlier at 7:45 AM. This will be convenient for those who wish to use the station before going to work or school.

A hearty sandwich with plenty of filling

The "Sun Deli" sandwich will be revamped on April 1, 2025. The crust of the bread has been cut off, allowing you to directly taste the deliciousness of the fresh vegetables and generous toppings.

In addition to the classics such as "Mentaiko x Egg! Mentamayo Sandwich" (2 pieces for 410 yen), "Very Satisfied and Full! Sangen Pork Loin Cutlet Sandwich" (2 pieces for 560 yen), and "Rich Teriyaki Chicken Teriyaki Egg Sandwich" (2 pieces for 470 yen),

There are usually around 20 different types of sandwiches available, including the "Recommended Mix Sandwich" (420 yen for 2 sandwiches) and the "Hakata Mix Sandwich" (470 yen for 2 sandwiches), which each contain one of the recommended sandwiches of the day. With so many varieties, it's hard to decide what to get.

What's more, they're all filled with plenty of ingredients that look like they're about to pop out of the bread!

The most popular item is the "Mentaiko x Egg! Mentamayo Sandwich" (2 pieces for 410 yen). The mild egg is accented with the spicy spiciness of Spicy Fish Eggs, making it delicious.

The "BLT Sandwich" (2 pieces for 470 yen) is filled with fresh tomatoes, lettuce and bacon, and is very satisfying with plenty of vegetables!

Also check out the "Moe-dan" sandwich, the "Fresh Vegetable Sandwich" (400 yen per sandwich). This one is made only with vegetables, so it's low in calories and guilt-free.

The "Very Satisfied! Sangen Pork Loin Cutlet Sandwich" (2 pieces for 560 yen) is said to have many customers surprised by the crispy and juicy texture of the loin cutlet. The "Gori Gori Burdock Kinpira Sandwich" (2 pieces for 420 yen) is a dish that has many repeat customers. It changes daily, so if you see it, be sure to try it!

Don't miss out on the fried sandwiches that change daily, such as the "Chunky Shrimp Cutlet Sandwich" (2 pieces for 570 yen) shown in the photo, and the "Fillet Cutlet Sandwich with Rich Miso Sauce" (2 pieces for 570 yen), which has a rich miso sauce aroma and flavor that hits you right in the mouth. They're hearty, but you can eat them all in no time!

Every sandwich is not only packed with delicious fillings, but the soft, fluffy bread is irresistible no matter where you eat it.

"Sundelie" also recommends "Coffee (Hot/Iced)" (230 yen). It is an original blend of five types of beans from Colombia, Ethiopia, Guatemala, Brazil, and Indonesia. Using the roasting machine at "Tabegoro Hyakushunkan Airport Store," a professional roaster meticulously manages the roasting process to create a carefully crafted cup of coffee that brings out the original characteristics and flavor of the coffee beans to the fullest.

What's more, from opening until 10am they offer "Morning Coffee" with hot coffee for 100 yen and iced coffee for 150 yen! That's great!

For drinks, be sure to check out the "Adult Lemonade" (350 yen), which will be available only during the summer from July 1, 2025!

When I took a sip, I was amazed! The fresh acidity and aroma of lemon spread throughout my mouth, just like eating a lemon. The lemon flavor was strong, not too sweet, and I could still taste the bitterness.
