[Hakata Area Souvenirs] Elegant taste and cuteness that will put a smile on your face! Popular "Flower Ohagi" Shop (Fukuoka City)

Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.

This time, we will introduce a stylish sweets shop located in Minojima, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City.

Perfect as a gift! Enjoy flower-shaped ohagi and Nankan inari at "Hana" (Minoshima, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

Hana is a 15-minute walk from JR Hakata Station, located one street behind the Minoshima Shopping Arcade. The shop is renowned for its gorgeous and beautiful flower-motif "Hana Ohagi."

"Hana Ohagi" is carefully handmade every day using carefully selected ingredients and is a work of art!

The colorful color is said to come from mixing natural ingredients such as vegetables, purple sweet potato, cacao, butterfly pea, lemon, beetroot, and matcha into the white bean paste.

You can purchase them individually, but there is also a "Hanatebako" assortment of nine pieces.

The "Hana Yose" (from 4,950 yen), which is a base of white bean paste, tsubuan paste, or roasted green tea bean paste topped with a generous amount of flower-shaped rice balls, is also popular, and many people order it for celebratory occasions such as birthdays, Mother's Day, and Respect for the Aged Day.

Reservations are required and must be made by the morning of the previous day. Reservations can be made by phone or via Instagram DM, and you can discuss size, budget, and color preferences.

Nankan Inari (918 yen) is a popular dish that uses Nankan age and comes in five varieties: yuzu, sesame, wasabi, shiso, and plum and shiso.

The Nankan Age is cooked in dashi stock for 40 minutes until it becomes soft, and the moment you bite into it, the dashi stock oozes out. It looks delicious!

It's almost a work of art ♡ The gorgeous and beautiful "Hana Ohagi"

This time I bought seven different kinds of "Hana Ohagi".

You'll be enchanted by its gorgeous appearance, which doesn't look like real rice balls ♡ It's so beautiful from every angle that it almost feels a shame to eat it.

I'll introduce them in order.

Purple sweet potato x black sesame x bean paste (410 yen)

This rose-shaped item is a popular item with many repeat customers.

The classic combination of purple sweet potato and bean paste is delicious with the added flavor of black sesame.

Pumpkin x Bean Paste (410 yen)

The yellow petals are made of pumpkin paste, reminiscent of sunflowers.

The refined sweetness of the pumpkin and the texture of the bean paste are a perfect combination, and personally, this was the most delicious thing I tried this time.

Strawberry x White bean paste (388 yen)

It's so cute it makes your heart skip a beat ♡ And, as soon as you take a bite, you'll realize it's more strawberry than you'd imagine!

It has a refreshing acidity and a strong flavor that strawberry lovers will love.

Orange and white bean paste (410 yen)

This hibiscus-inspired treat has a strong presence thanks to the bitter and sour taste of orange peel, as well as its texture.

The idea of incorporating orange peel, which is often used in Western sweets, into Japanese sweets is original, and the quality is truly impressive.

Butterfly pea (lemon) x white bean paste (388 yen)

A refreshing taste with a distinct lemony acidity.

The petals, which resembled hydrangeas, were very fine and looked extremely delicate.

Pure cacao x walnut x smooth bean paste (410 yen)

It is said to have been made with the image of raw chocolate in mind. The chewy base of mochi rice is accented by the texture of walnuts.

Sakura x White Bean Paste (388 yen)

Visual beauty wins!

Of course, the pure Japanese flavor is also excellent. The flavor of the cherry blossom bean paste was exquisite.

I think the strength of Yonehana is that it is not only beautiful to look at, but also delicious.

It's a great treat for yourself, and it's sure to be a delightful gift too ♡

I hope you all will give it a try. (Text by Yuri-chan)
