[Hakata Station Lunch] A perfect combination of melted cheese! A wide variety of exquisite doria (Fukuoka)

This time, we will introduce a must-see shop for cheese lovers located in a commercial facility directly connected to JR Hakata Station.

Enjoy cheese with all five senses at "Cheese & Doria Sweets KITTE Hakata" (Hakataeki Chuo-gai, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City)

Cheese & Doria Sweets KITTE Hakata opened on the 9th floor of KITTE Hakata on May 9th, 2025. It is a sister store of the popular Kobe Motomachi Doria, which has its main store in Kobe and has 41 stores nationwide.

By the way, there is also an Amu Plaza Kokura store in Fukuoka Prefecture.

There is a wide range of dishes that allow you to "enjoy cheese with all five senses," including doria, gratin, baked omelet doria, cheese fondue, and more, all made with a variety of cheeses, including Parmesan cheese sprinkled right before your eyes and melty, stretchy mozzarella cheese. Doria is especially popular, with over 30 varieties available, from classics to seasonal specials.

They also have a wide selection of cheese-based sweets, including cakes, Mont Blancs prepared at your table, and parfaits. This shop is great not only for meals, but also as a cafe.

The interior of the store is a natural space with a wood motif, creating a bright and casual atmosphere.

The restaurant is spacious with a total of 70 seats, including table and sofa seats. They also have chairs for children and a kids' menu, so it's perfect for families.

Hot and delicious! The extremely popular "Baked Omelet and Cheese Fondue Burger"

If it's your first time, start with their signature dish, Doria! Enjoying it hot in the cool atmosphere of the restaurant is a blissful experience.

The menu features a variety of cheeses and sauces, including the "Parmesan Carbonara-style Doria with a Soft-boiled Egg" (1,309 yen), where the cheese is grated right in front of you, the "Avocado and Prosciutto Croque-Monsieur-style Doria" (1,331 yen), an adaptation of the popular croque monsieur, and the "Quattro Formaggi Doria" (1,716 yen), which features a perfect combination of four types of cheese and grilled chicken, making it difficult to decide which one to choose.

It's also fun that there are doria menus for each cheese, including Parmesan, Cheddar, Raclette, Mozzarella, Camembert, Caciocavallo, and Gorgonzola.

The photo shows the "Shrimp and Mozzarella Cheese Lobster Flavored Cream Doria" (1,441 yen). The exquisite harmony of the lobster sauce and cream sauce makes this a truly irresistible dish.

It's also great that they have half and half dorias that allow you to enjoy two flavors at once, such as the "Half and Half with Toro Tama Avocado" (1,386 yen)!

After much deliberation, I decided on the "Baked Doria" category that day, with the "Baked Omelet Doria and Cheese Fondue Burger" (1,716 yen).

This is a unique dish among the many types of doria, as it is served heated on a hot plate using solid fuel.

A combination of fluffy egg muraisu with hamburger steak and rich cheese sauce. There's no way it wouldn't be delicious! Since it's cooked, you can brown the cheese until it's crispy if you like.

The hamburger steak is juicy and meaty! It's satisfying to eat. The combination of rich cheese on top is just amazing.

What's more, when combined with a fluffy omelet, it's twice as delicious! The kids loved it too.

You can also add additional "cheese toppings" (473 yen to 484 yen) from four types: mozzarella, parmesan, raclette, and gorgonzola.

You can also add a "Soup and Salad Set" (319 yen), "Soup and Potato Set" (319 yen), "Salad and Potato Set" (429 yen), "Soup, Salad and Potato Set" (484 yen), or "Drink Set" (242 yen) to your Doria.

All menu items are available all day, so they're perfect for a late lunch!

The sweets at "Cheese & Doria Sweets" are also appealing!

The first thing you should try is the "Cheesecake that tastes like cheese" (759 yen).

The cute shape is based on the illustration of the shop's logo ♡ This rare cheesecake is made with cream cheese and cheddar cheese. Its rich flavor and smooth texture will leave you feeling happy.

The "Rich Cheese Soft Parfait," which comes in 15 different flavors, is also popular. This is the "Chocolate Ice Cream Parfait" (649 yen).

In addition to the cheese soft serve, there's rich chocolate ice cream and plenty of chocolate sauce.

It contains sponges and other ingredients, and is sure to satisfy everyone, from adults to children.

My daughters love chocolate and were delighted with it, with their mouths covered in chocolate (lol).
