This time, we will introduce a curry restaurant located in Maizuru, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City.
A must-see for curry lovers! Authentic spice curry specialty store "SPICE & CLASH & ROCK'N'ROLL feat. Hakata Otokomae Yakitori Yami Yodare (Spice and Crush and Rock'n'Roll)" (Maizuru, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)
SPICE & CLASH & ROCK'N'ROLL feat. Hakata Otokomae Yakitori Yamiyodare (Spice and Crush and Rock'n'Roll), commonly known as "Spakura", is located a 10-minute walk from Tenjin Station on the Fukuoka City Subway Airport Line, along Oyafuko Street.

During the day it is a curry specialty restaurant, and at night it operates as a yakitori izakaya where you can also enjoy curry.
"Spakura" was opened with the aim of focusing on daytime business during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The owner, who is originally a curry lover, wanted to offer something authentic that couldn't be made at home, and it took a year and a half from conception to commercialization to create this curry.
The restaurant has counter seats and table seats.
It's open from 6pm to 1am in the evening, so it's great that you can use it late into the night.
A satisfying meal! "Jidori Green Curry" with an addictive spice flavor
This time I had the daily special "Jidori Green Curry" (1,200 yen).
It's quite popular and appears frequently on the daily menu.

The combination of local chicken and curry is surprisingly unique, and that addictive texture remains intact even in the curry.
In addition to local chicken, several other types of chicken are used, including those stewed until tender.
Being able to taste a variety of chicken meats at once is one of the strengths of yakitori restaurants.

The curry sauce is made with a blend of over 20 spices, and while it has the spiciness of green chilies, the coconut milk makes it creamy and mild. The coriander and cinnamon simmered together, and the generous amount of fresh coriander on top, are irresistible for fans of ethnic cuisine!
I personally love basmati rice for its subtle sweetness.

Three popular regular menu items available!
In addition to the daily specials, there is also a regular menu.
The most popular dish is the "Chicken Curry" (set 1,200 yen, curry roux only 900 yen), which is characterized by its spicy aroma and deep flavor.

There are three types of curry available, including the rich and spicy "Sri Lankan Curry" (set 1,100 yen, curry sauce only 800 yen), in which the ingredients are simmered until they become soft and tender.

All of them have an authentic taste ♪ There are also "2 Kinds of Mixed Curry" (1,500 yen) and "3 Kinds of Mixed Curry" (1,300 yen) which allow you to taste multiple types.
I arrived around 1pm that day, but unfortunately all the regular menu items were sold out. I'll definitely try them next time!
