Crispy and fluffy, it's delicious♡ We boast extra-large eels that overflow from the bento box! An exquisite unaju loved by locals
Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.
This time, we will introduce you to an eel restaurant that is perfect for the upcoming Doyo no Ushi no Hi.
Unagi no Juyoshi, an eel specialty store beloved by locals (Shingu Town, Kasuya District)
"Unagi no Juyoshi" is located in Shingu Town, Kasuya District, a 3-minute drive from JR Fukukodaimae Station.

It has a reputation for serving delicious, carefully selected Japanese eels, and is crowded with people every day. During the day, it is an eel specialty restaurant, and in the evening, in addition to eel dishes, they also serve izakaya menu items.
The restaurant has counter seats as well as tatami seating. They also have chairs for children, making it perfect for family meals.
Gorgeous and filling! "Unagi Kasane" allows you to fully enjoy the deliciousness of eel.
This time I ordered the "Unagi-ju Kasane (1 fish)" (2,980 yen). It comes with lightly pickled eel, green onions, shredded seaweed, wasabi, and liver soup.

They are proud of their extra-large eels, which overflow from the bento box, and are impressive not only for their size but also for their thickness.
Of course the taste is top notch!
The surface is fragrant and the flesh is plump.

Since it is steamed first and then grilled, excess fat drips off and the meat has a fluffy, easy-to-eat texture.

The sauce soaks into the noodles perfectly, creating a blissful taste that will bring a smile to your face.
Another great thing about this meal is that you get one free refill of condiments, soup, and rice.

You can also get soup stock for Hitsumabushi.
The sauce was so delicious that I was so engrossed in adding more sauce that I completely forgot to drink the broth for the hitsumabushi... (laughs)

It was a restaurant that made me feel happy eating eel.

Take-out is also available by ordering over the phone.

By the way, they also offer "Steamed in a bamboo steamer" (2,200 yen for high-grade, 2,700 yen for extra high-grade), which is steamed, baked, and steamed again, resulting in a fluffier and softer dish.
