The popular hamburger restaurant will be opening in Ropponmatsu, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City.

Opening June 30, 2025! "Burger King (R) Ropponmatsu Ekimae Store" (Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

Burger King (R) is a hamburger chain that takes pride in its flame-grilled 100% beef patties.

On Monday, June 30, 2025, Burger King (R) Ropponmatsu Ekimae will have its grand opening along National Route 202, approximately a four-minute walk from Ropponmatsu Station on the Fukuoka City Subway.

This is the sixth store in Fukuoka Prefecture; the other stores in Fukuoka City are the Aeon Mall Kashiihama store in Higashi Ward and the Hakata Station Chikushiguchi store in Hakata Ward.

Whopper (R) Cheese

The most popular item you definitely want to try is the "Whopper (R) Cheese" (690 yen for a single item, 990 yen for a set). The ingredients are a beef patty, two slices of rich cheddar cheese, fresh lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles for a flavorful accent. Finished with creamy mayonnaise and ketchup, and sandwiched between toasted sesame buns, this is a classic delicious item.

The name "Whopper" means "enormously large," and it is about 1.4 times the size of a regular hamburger. The bun has a diameter of about 13 cm, and Burger King's proud flame-grilled 100% beef patty weighs about 114 g.
