[Kurume Lunch] Thick tongue, as many times as you like! Great value all-you-can-eat yakiniku course (Fukuoka)
Hello. I am Yorimichi, the owner of the blog "Yorimichi's Fukuoka Introduction," which introduces delicious restaurants in Fukuoka.
Today I finally got to go to a restaurant I've been wanting to go to for a long time, so I'd like to introduce it to you.
"Yakiniku Kamsa" (Kurume City), a popular all-you-can-eat yakiniku restaurant that is not a chain
Yakiniku Kamsa in Kurume City reopened in April 2025. It is located along National Route 322, about a 3-minute walk from Ishibashi Cultural Center.
With this renewal, the menu for both the all-you-can-eat buffet and the a la carte options has been completely revised, making them even more appealing!

Once inside, it was much larger than I had imagined! The interior of the restaurant is mainly tatami seating and is designed to be spacious.

What made me happy was that they also had chairs for children and the elderly available.
This kind of consideration makes a huge difference. Recently, I had a child, and I really began to appreciate it.

And here's what changed with the renewal.
It seems that they have now added sofa seats and table seats, which are also great.
Tatami rooms are nice, but it's convenient to have tables that are easy to get up from. It's nice to be able to choose a seat depending on the situation.

From great value weekday lunch sets to all-you-can-eat courses that you can enjoy during the day
There are many different menu items.
There are also several great value "lunch sets" available only on weekdays, the most affordable of which is the "Shiromori Lunch" at 1,298 yen.
What's more, if you choose the "lunch set" until the end of June 2025, you can enjoy a variety of salads and desserts at the "salad bar" (usually priced at 528 yen) for free. This means you'd be missing out if you don't come for weekday lunch. It's such a great value.

There are also all-you-can-eat menus (same price for lunch and dinner), including the "Simple All-You-Can-Eat" (3,608 yen, salad bar included, 100 minutes) and the "Kamsa All-You-Can-Eat" (4,048 yen, salad bar included, 100 minutes), which includes domestically-produced kalbi and grilled kalbi. Each plan is free for infants, half price for elementary school students, and 500 yen off for seniors.
A taste review of "Kamsa All-You-Can-Eat", an all-you-can-eat restaurant with 60 different dishes!
Today, my goal is the all-you-can-eat course!
This time, I decided to go all out and choose the "Kamsa All-You-Can-Eat" (4,048 yen)! Because...if you hear that you can eat as much as you want from 60 different types of food, there's no way you can resist.
So, let's start by taking a look at the salad section.

Eh? Is this really free for people who order the lunch set? I'm a bit surprised.
I want to keep my lunch expenses down. But I also want to eat vegetables. I never expected that they would be able to accommodate such a selfish wish to this extent.

Image: Detour
Not only is there a wide variety of vegetables available, but there is also chicken ham, boiled eggs, and surprisingly, a wide selection of fruits and sweets too.
At first glance it seems like just a salad section, but it goes beyond salads and even offers desserts, which gets me excited!

If you look closely, you'll see that they even have pasta. It makes you happy. To be honest, this buffet alone is so filling that you could get full.
This...is enough to make you feel satisfied before the main meat is served.

There is also a menu item called "Potato Salad." It's playful and nice.

I was worried about not getting enough vegetables, so I took the opportunity to pile on the food, and before I knew it, I had made six round trips to the buffet.
Well, I can eat as much as I want as long as it's for my health.

Wow, this is quite impressive. The meat we ordered was brought all together in one serving.
The way it's presented almost reminds me of a high-end yakiniku restaurant, to the point where I wonder if this is an all-you-can-eat restaurant.

With meat all over the place, today's lunch is already a winner.

Image: Detour
The meat is so good that it could compete on its own. It's of such high quality that you wouldn't think it was from an all-you-can-eat restaurant.

Image: Detour
Even though it's all-you-can-eat tongue, it's thick and doesn't feel skimpy at all.

Image: Detour
Can you see the luster and thickness? Shall we look at it from the side? I've never seen anything this thick at an all-you-can-eat restaurant.

Oh, by the way, let's have five plates of "Yakisuki Kalbi". It's super delicious.

Image: Detour
It's also cute that the grill is completely covered with kalbi. It would be nice to grill it very rare and wrap it in rice...

Image: Detour
This was just irresistible. The feeling of happiness was so intense that it continued even after I got home and took a bath.
In fact, the afterglow lingered until the next day.

All the meats are really delicious. It's been a long time since I've had such a big hit with myself.

What surprised me was the "Kamsatan Ipponyaki".
It must be a bug that you can order such a big tongue as many times as you want. I've seen it in other restaurants, but it's "This is the only order you can make once". A whole grilled tongue thrashing around on the grill, bling-bling. It's heart-pounding.

After that, you can cut it into whatever size you like and enjoy it. You can eat it in one big bite, or you can savor it little by little.
Even though it's so thick, it's moist and tender when you eat it.

Image: Detour
Honestly, I think it's worth coming just to eat this.

Image: Detour
You can also enjoy it layered on top of rice.
I was only able to stack four layers, but I encourage you to try and see how many layers you can stack.
Huh? "It's all-you-can-eat meat, right?"
Try coming with a cool head, or rather, I would like you to come with that same enthusiasm.
And before you know it...you'll be completely captivated by Kamsa.
By the way, you can also eat as much soft serve ice cream as you like.

I was just thinking I'd have a little something to cleanse my palate after the meal, but I ended up having two.
I knew about it before, but I regret not coming here. This is definitely a place I want to visit regularly. (Text by Yorimitsu)
