This time, we will introduce you to a luxurious shaved ice that is perfect as a treat, available for a limited time at a popular teahouse.

Enjoy the garden view! Shaved ice is now available for a limited time at Takamiya Teien Saryo (Takamiya, Minami Ward, Fukuoka City)

Takamiya Teien Saryo is located in Takamiya, Minami-ku, Fukuoka City, about a 5-minute walk from Takamiya Station on the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line. The former Takamiya Kaijima Residence, a Fukuoka City registered cultural property with over 100 years of history, was reborn as a restaurant, teahouse, and wedding venue in April 2022.

Shaved ice will be available in this wonderful space for a limited time from Tuesday, June 10, 2025.

In addition to the tea room and Western-style rooms, you can also enjoy shaved ice on the veranda, where you can feel the coolness while looking out at the garden. You can enjoy the seasonal summer scenery while surrounded by greenery and a breeze.

Two flavors: peach and matcha! A luxurious Japanese taste

There are two types of shaved ice available, making the most of the flavors of peach and Yame matcha, both of which have a Japanese taste unique to Takamiya Teien Saryo.

Serving hours are 11:00-16:30 (last entry 15:30).

*This plan is for use in the tea room, Western-style room, or veranda. *The maximum stay is 1 hour.
*Children under 12 years old are not allowed inside the tea room.

Peach and milk shaved ice

This is the "Peach and Milk Shaved Ice" (2,000 yen), which will be available until Sunday, August 31, 2025.

This is a luxurious delicacy that uses plenty of domestically grown peaches, which are in season every year and are very popular.

The shaved ice is topped with a generous amount of sweet white bean paste and peach sauce. Hidden inside is a milk syrup with a hint of peach flavor. You can enjoy the fresh texture of the peach, the sweet and mellow aroma, and the taste that changes as you eat it.

Toro mochi matcha ice cream

"Toro Mochi Matcha Ice" (1,600 yen), which uses the rich, sweet and savory flavor of Yame matcha, will be available until Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

It combines thick matcha warabimochi sauce and homemade bean paste, crispy black sesame kinako meringue, and crunchy, fragrant caramelized walnuts.

There is a hidden matcha panna cotta inside, and when topped with the fragrant brown rice crackers that are served separately, you can enjoy a change in texture and flavor.

As reservations are given priority, the restaurant may be fully booked depending on the situation on the day. We recommend that you contact the restaurant in advance if you plan to visit.
