"Fruit Parlor Notoki" is located on the basement floor of "Solaria Stage", directly connected to Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. It is conveniently located and easily accessible even on rainy days, on your way to work or while shopping.

This shop has a long history, with roots dating back 60 years to Nishitetsu Meitengai. It moved to its current location in 1999 and is now one of the few places that embodies the "Showa era coffee culture," making it a precious spot that evokes nostalgia, while remaining beloved by locals just as it was back then.

The relaxing retro space is refreshing!

There are a few tables inside the restaurant, and the great thing about Notoki is that it has a relaxing atmosphere where you can take a break, making you feel nostalgic even if it's your first time here.

The shop's name was apparently taken from the owner's grandfather's name, and the warmth that has been passed down through generations permeates every corner of the space.

On this day, there were many customers, including three generations of parents and children, and it was clear that this place is deeply rooted in the community as a place filled with family memories.

Apparently they have a lot of inbound customers, so I was impressed to see that they have menus in foreign languages!

The most popular item is the Amaou Strawberry Parfait, which offers the best value for money!

The ever-popular item at Notoki is the "Amaou Strawberry Parfait" (680 yen). Only 150 are available per day. It's a dish packed with plenty of strawberries, strawberry soft serve, sponge cake, whipped cream, and more, and you'll be amazed at how big it looks! What's great is that it's not only available seasonally, but is always available.

The cup is packed with ingredients all the way to the bottom, making it very filling. And yet, the surprising price of 680 yen is impressive, especially considering that it's located in Tenjin.

Another thing worth noting is that they sell "shaved ice" (starting from 480 yen) all year round. Unlike the shaved ice topped with lots of fruit these days, you can enjoy a nostalgic, simple shaved ice.

There are several kinds of fresh juices available, including "Amaou" (500 yen). The sourness of the strawberries is refreshing and makes it perfect for a hot summer day.

Other simple and nostalgic menu items include "Mixed Juice" (from 380 yen), "Soft Serve Ice Cream" (from 280 yen), "Cream Zenzai" (580 yen), and "Fruit Parfait" (680 yen).

All of the dishes on offer bring out the natural sweetness of the fruit, so you can't go wrong with any of them!

A place that offers unchanging flavors and time amid the redevelopment of Tenjin
