Delicious enough to be a repeat customer! A new restaurant serving hearty grilled chicken and luxurious egg-on-rice (in front of Kashii Station, Fukuoka City)

This time, we will introduce a restaurant where you can enjoy chicken dishes located in front of Kashii Station in Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City.

Directly connected to JR Kashii Station! A restaurant that boasts grilled chicken and raw egg rice, "Ukiyo-renaka no Toridorobo" (in front of Kashii Station, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City)

"Otherworldly Tridorbo" opened on April 7, 2025 in "Ekimachi 1-chome Kashii," a station building directly connected to JR Kashii Station.

This is a chicken restaurant that specializes in grilled whole chicken and rice cooked in a pot with a raw egg on top.

Overflowing with deliciousness! The hearty signature dish "Chicken platter set meal"

The signature dish, "Chicken One-piece Grilled Meal," is a set of a whole grilled chicken thigh, rice cooked in a kettle, high-quality brand eggs "Yumeo," wasabi, green onions, salted kelp, and dashi. You can choose from 12 different flavors for the chicken, including "Regular Sauce" (1,100 yen), "Special Sauce" (1,100 yen), "Sanzoku-yaki" (1,210 yen), and "Ume Sanbaizu" (1,320 yen).

Other dishes available all day include the "Fried Chicken Set Meal" (1,100 yen to 1,320 yen) with a choice of 13 different flavors, "Gokutoku Raw Egg Rice" (550 yen), "Yakitori Rice Bowl" (880 yen), "Fried Chicken Rice Bowl" (880 yen), "Dashimaki Raw Egg Set Meal" (880 yen), and "Grilled Chicken and Dashimaki Set Meal" (1,430 yen).

Orders are placed by filling out a paper form.

A large serving of rice or a refill costs 110 yen. For an additional 110 yen, you can change the eggs to the high-end brand "Ran-oh" eggs.

Grilled chicken and rolled omelet set meal

This is the "Chicken and rolled omelet set meal" (1,430 yen). The set includes a whole rolled omelet, a piece of grilled chicken, rice cooked in a pot, wasabi, green onions, salted kelp, grated yam, and a small side dish.

The chicken is grilled on a single piece with crispy, fragrant skin and is eaten after being cut with special scissors.

The deep, rich, and sweet sauce pairs perfectly with the juicy chicken thighs, making for an absolutely delicious dish.

Personally, I recommend adding a little bit of wasabi.

The rolled omelet has a gentle flavor with a refined dashi stock.

I was so happy to be able to eat a whole one of these big ones.

The rice used is the high-quality "Ten no Tsubu" rice, which has a firm texture that enhances the flavor of the side dishes.

When you order a set meal, you can have as much soup as you want from the soup bar!

The sweet soy sauce base is packed with the delicious flavor of chicken, making for a gentle taste. It was so delicious that I had to go for seconds.

Grilled chicken set meal (tomato cheese)

This is the "Chicken One-piece Grilled Set Meal (Tomato Cheese)" (1,320 yen). I changed the raw egg to "Ran-oh" for an additional 110 yen.

The chicken is grilled until crispy on the outside, giving it a fragrant flavor. The umami is concentrated in the chicken. The mildly sour tomatoes and rich cheese add to the flavor, and the moment you put it in your mouth, you'll feel bliss.

When you put "Ran-ou" on rice, the plump orange egg yolk looks beautiful.

The soy sauce for the raw egg rice is apparently carefully selected from all over the country.

There are so many types of soy sauce that it's hard to choose, but this time I chose "Shinshu Tamago Kake Gohan Soy Sauce."

The grainy rice, eggs, and soy sauce go perfectly together! I was also impressed by the rich flavor of "Ran-oh."

We also recommend having more rice, topping it with condiments and pouring broth over it to make chazuke. If you top it with a piece of grilled chicken, you can enjoy it as a luxurious "tori mabushi" (chicken over rice).

You can enjoy it in three different ways: with the chicken and rice as is, with raw egg on rice, or as dashi ochazuke (tea and soup stock). It's delicious no matter how you eat it. I highly recommend it.
