This time, we will introduce you to a restaurant in Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City where you can enjoy delicious pizza.

Pizzeria KAZZENARI, a local favorite Italian bar (Nakai, Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City)

Pizzeria KAZZENARI is an Italian bar located a five-minute drive from JR Kyushu Institute of Technology Station.

It has a reputation for serving authentic pizza made with carefully selected ingredients, including authentic Neapolitan flour, and is crowded with people every day.

By the way, the owner's name is "Kazunari," and that's where the shop got its name.

The restaurant currently offers 11 different types of pizza.

This is the "Special Margherita with Buffalo Mozzarella" (medium size 1,870 yen, large size 3,630 yen). The photo shows the medium size.

The edges of the dough are raised and it's thick - just like Neapolitan pizza!

The simple composition of tomato sauce, basil, mozzarella (cheese), and Grana Padano (cheese) allows the aroma of freshly baked bread to be directly conveyed.

Buffalo mozzarella is said to be richer than that made with regular cow's milk.

The dough is chewy and a favorite of children. It's large but easy to eat. There's no doubt that everyone from adults to children will be satisfied. All pizzas are available for takeout by ordering by phone.

A luxurious assortment of appetizers is also available.

The "Assorted Appetizers" (1,320 yen per person) is a must-have to go with your pizza. The photo shows a two-person serving.

The contents change depending on the day, but it usually includes 6 to 7 types of appetizers.

On this day, the menu was sumptuous, including (front row, from the right) tender wild sea bream carpaccio, marinated sardines, Italian ham, Italian omelette, (back row, from the right) bruschetta with fig butter, chicken liver pate, Kanmon octopus and avocado pesto, and homemade pickles (cucumber, carrot, cauliflower, celery, and pepper).

The Italian omelette contained onions, spinach, etc. The fluffy egg was also excellent.

Fig butter bruschetta is delicious with a very fruity buttery flavour!

The chicken liver pate had no strong flavor and was easy to eat. The kids also seemed to like it and ate it all up in no time.

By the way, this "Assorted Appetizers" is also available for take-out (1,512 yen per person, including container fee).
