[Itoshima's hidden gem] A wide range of play equipment for children and sea play! The much-talked-about ocean view BBQ
Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.
This time, we will introduce you to a hidden gem of a BBQ spot in Itoshima City.
The beach is right in front of you! All seats have an ocean view and you can enjoy an empty-handed BBQ at "Aquamarine Itoshima" (Itoshima City)
Aquamarine Itoshima is located about a 10-minute drive from JR Chikuhi Line Gafuri Station and about 20 minutes by car from the Maebara Interchange on the Nishi Kyushu Expressway.

This is a popular spot that can be enjoyed all year round, with oyster huts in the winter (November to April) and BBQs in the summer (May to October).

There is only outdoor terrace seating, but it is fully roofed and all seats have an ocean view.

There is a beach right in front of you, so it feels like a resort.
The location, where you can see the ocean from anywhere, is very exciting.
Once you go down the stairs you'll be on the sandy beach.

There's also a huge pool in the summer! Plenty of play equipment for kids to enjoy
Behind the terrace seats there is a park-like kids' space with play equipment, which is very popular with families with children.

You can jump and bounce on the trampoline, play on the swings, swing in a hammock, and there's even a jungle gym with a slide.
There were plenty of play equipment, including basketball goals, parallel bars, and unicycles.
Chickens were also raised.

In the summer, with an advance reservation, they also offer a huge pool and SUP (stand-up paddle board) rentals (for a fee).
There is also a shower room, so it's recommended to combine it with a swim in the sea during this time of year.

There is also an all-you-can-drink plan! Enjoy the summer with an empty-handed BBQ
This time, we used the "Empty-handed BBQ Set" (3,000 yen per person, reservations must be made at least two days before the visit). The photo shows the portion for two people.
The set includes beef tenderloin, pork belly, chicken thigh, sausage, bacon and cheese rolls, and white rice ball.

The burnt parts had a nice charcoal aroma, so it turned out all right.
It was fun having everyone hang out together.
The bacon and cheese rolls were a big hit with the kids.

When grilled over charcoal it really does taste completely different, and I munched it down with gusto.
White rice balls can be eaten as is, or grilled and topped with soy sauce!

For an additional 2,000 yen, you can add a 90-minute all-you-can-drink plan, including alcohol (1,000 yen for children, 500 yen for preschoolers).

The "Tsuburana Kabosu" included in the all-you-can-drink plan has a sweet and refreshing taste that I became addicted to.

Equipment such as a grill, tongs, disposable chopsticks, paper plates, and plastic cups are provided, so you can really enjoy yourself empty-handed.
Refresh your mind in this open location with a panoramic view of the ocean.

There were lots of elements that the whole family could enjoy, and both parents and children were very satisfied.
You can also bring your own BBQ, which costs 5,000 yen from 11am to 5pm and 8,000 yen from 5pm to 10pm, for up to 6 people per table.
