A full-fledged bakery inside a library!? A popular restaurant offering lunch with free refills on weekdays

This time, we will introduce you to a bakery located inside a library in Fukuchi Town, Tagawa County, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Enjoy lunch too! Toshopan, a bakery inside the library (Fukuchi Town, Tagawa District)
Bakery "Toshopan" is located on the first floor of "Fukuchinochi", a renovated former Akaike branch office (Akaike Town Hall) that has been converted into Fukuchi Town Library and Historical Museum, an 8-minute walk from Fureai Shouriki Station on the Heisei Chikuho Railway. There is also free parking available for anyone to use.

They sell wholesome bread made with carefully selected ingredients, including stone-ground whole wheat flour from Fukuoka Prefecture and vegetables grown in their own farm.
There's a wide selection of delicious breads, including sliced bread, bagels, sandwich bread, and seasonal breads.

The most popular item is the whole-grain "Bagel" (from 160 yen) made with domestic wheat. There are more than 15 different varieties available every day.
In addition to being sold in stores, it is also offered as a gift in return for hometown tax donations.

Besides bread, they also have baked goods such as muffins and donuts. What's great is that all of them are reasonably priced.

There are tables for two or four people, so you can eat the bread you purchase right away.
When I visited on a Sunday around lunchtime, it was so crowded that it was full.

In addition to bread, the lunch sets available from 11:00 to 14:00 (last order) are also popular! There are five types to choose from, including the "Soup Lunch" (780 yen) which comes with a choice of soup and bread, and the "Chocolate Bread Plate" (950 yen) which comes with today's quiche, a mini soup, salad, three pieces of bread, and butter.
If you order a lunch set, you can get a 100 yen discount on your drink. If you present your "Fukuchinochi Card", you can get a 50 yen discount on your lunch set.

The "Oven-baked Neapolitan" (950 yen) comes with Neapolitan, salad, three types of bread, and butter.
