[Fukuoka Tonkotsu Ramen] Very delicious! "750 yen for this flavor exceeds expectations" - a popular shop (Kasuga City)
Hello! I'm Fukuoka Nyakki, a writer who enjoys discovering new food in and around Fukuoka city.
This time, we will introduce an excellent pork bone ramen restaurant in Kasuga City.
The place is incredibly lively! Even ramen connoisseurs flock to "Hakata Tonkotsu Ippo" (Kasuga City) for its delicious tonkotsu ramen
Hakata Tonkotsu Ippo opened in December 2023 and has now grown into a popular restaurant that always has a constant line of people waiting.
From Fukuoka city, drive straight south on Watanabedori for about 35 minutes, and it is one minute on the right after the intersection of "Kasuga Park Entrance." There is a large sign, so it is very easy to find.

There is a large parking lot for 20 cars.

I visited the restaurant around 11:30 on a weekday, and the 24-seat restaurant was almost full. After that, customers continued to arrive one after another, and a waiting line formed.
The spacious restaurant is surprisingly lively and very clean. The staff are quick and efficient in their service. Even before eating, you'll be glad you made the effort to come here.
Judging from the exterior, you'd think they'd have a diverse menu for families, but they're actually being a bit bold! Hakata Tonkotsu Ippo simply serves up tonkotsu ramen! There are only three items on the menu: "Ramen" (750 yen), "Negi Ramen" (850 yen), and "Char Siu Ramen" (950 yen).
Other side dishes include "Fried rice" (500 yen) and "Gyoza (10 pieces)" (550 yen). The "Children's Set" for elementary school students and younger includes a mini ramen + half extra noodles + mini rice ball + juice + toy for just 500 yen.

During lunch time (11:00-15:00), the "Fried rice set (ramen + fried rice)" (1,150 yen) and the "Gyoza set (ramen + half a gyoza + rice)" (1,100 yen) are great deals.
Additionally, during lunch, they offer a complimentary boiled egg for each person (limited quantity).

Soup made from a single pork bone! "Ramen" 750 yen
When I first tried to order the "Roasted pork noodles" and "Fried rice" separately, the waiter kindly told me, "It's 100 yen cheaper to add the roast pork to the lunch "Fried rice set." The contents are the same." This kind of response makes you trust the restaurant.
So what I ordered was the "Fried Rice Set (Ramen + Fried Rice)" (1,150 yen), with "Roasted Pork" topping (200 yen), "Gyoza (10 pieces)" (550 yen), and a boiled egg (free).
The ramen came out shortly after and looked very pretty! It was sparkling!

I knew in my gut that this was definitely it! I took a sip of the soup and it hit me right in the feels. It was delicious, tasty, amazing!
Once you've had a sip, you'll want to take another sip and then another. The soup is smooth and free of any unpleasant odors or off-flavors, and the flavor is tightly packed into it, making it a wonderful, well-balanced soup with no bias in flavor.
It hits right in the center with a single pork bone!

It also pairs perfectly with the smooth, thin noodles.
If you see the words "Seimen-ya Keishi" written on the noodle box, you'll know if you're a ramen fan in Fukuoka. They use noodles from a specialty noodle factory that researches, develops, and wholesales noodles that are suited to the soup of each shop.

The char siu pork was also delicious! From the outside I thought it would have a firm texture, but when I bit into it, I was like, wow! It was moist, soft, and full of flavor!
There are usually two slices of pork, but if you add toppings it increases to six.

The fried rice is light and fluffy, with moist grains and a light flavor.

The bite-sized dumplings were crispy on one side and I ate them quickly, just the way I like them.

The "Ramen" (default) is 750 yen and the taste is amazing. It's rare to have an experience that goes beyond your expectations.
As I was eating, I looked around and saw that the place was always full.
It might be a good idea to go there on an empty stomach after playing at Kasuga Park. Please do give it a try. (Text by Fukuoka Nyakki)
