[Tenjin souvenirs] One Building exclusive and early sales! "Pierre Marcolini" with a spacious cafe

Hello! I'm Hakata Aya, a writer who loves hot information about Fukuoka.

This time we will be introducing the new Tenjin landmark, ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. (One Building for short), and the chocolatier that is a purveyor to the Belgian royal family, "Pierre Marcolini One Fukuoka Building Store."

We will bring you plenty of exclusive menus and highlights.
*All photos are from a preview event.

The second store in the Kyushu area! The brand's largest! Directly managed store with a cafe "Pierre Marcolini One Fukuoka Building Store" (Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

The Pierre Marcolini One Fukuoka Building store will open on the first floor on April 24, 2025, the opening day of One Building. It is the second directly managed store in the Kyushu area with a cafe, following the Fukuoka Iwataya store.

Being on the first floor, it seems like it could be used as a meeting place.

The luxurious interior of the store also features a cafe space with 42 seats (including 6 terrace seats), making it a relaxing space to unwind. It is said to be the largest of the brand's stores (total floor area 133.8 square meters).

The store's showcase is lined with items that are perfect for gifts. In particular, the "8 Macarons" (3,888 yen) in a cute heart-shaped package is perfect as a gift! The store is spacious, so you can take your time choosing your products.

Enjoy limited-edition waffles at the eat-in counter

In the eat-in space, you can enjoy parfaits, waffles, ice cream, etc. Parfaits and waffles come in both standard and limited-time menus, so you'll have fun choosing whenever you visit!

This time, I ordered the limited-time waffle menu (until the end of June 2025) "Waffle a la Minute Praline Noisette & Abricot" and "Set Tea" (2,090 yen) (1,430 yen for a single item, 1,980 yen for a set coffee).

The freshly baked warm waffle is topped with a special ice cream and cream called "Turbine Minute." The balance of the chewy waffle and ice cream was perfect!

Turbine Minute is constantly stirred using a special machine, giving it a fresh, silky texture.

Apparently, this is only available at a limited number of Pierre Marcolini stores, and while the Fukuoka Iwataya store only has two machines in operation, this store has six! You can enjoy a variety of flavors.

One Fukuoka Building store exclusive drink: "Chocolate Rumble Yame Matcha Au Lait"

The "Choco Rumble" take-out drink series is based on the concept of "carrying chocolate around with you and enjoying it easily."

They also have the standard "Choco Rumble" (702 yen) and the seasonal "Cold Choco Rumble Abricot" (864 yen), but one that is particularly noteworthy is the "Choco Rumble Yame Matcha Au Lait" (864 yen), which is only available at the "One Fukuoka Building Store".

This luxurious drink combines the rich flavor of Yame matcha, a Fukuoka specialty, with the rich chocolate that is unique to Pierre Marcolini.

The harmony of matcha and chocolate is sure to captivate both sweets lovers and tea lovers!

There are also many other drinks on offer, so it would be nice to enjoy a stroll around Tenjin with one in hand.

First appearance in Japan! Freshly baked financiers are also recommended

Another thing not to be missed is that Pierre Marcolini's original financier, "Financier Frais," baked in-store, will be sold here at the One Fukuoka Building store before being sold at any Pierre Marcolini directly managed stores nationwide.

There are two types, "Chocolat" and "Cas Noisette (Hazelnut)" (405 yen each for takeout / 413 yen each for eat-in). You can purchase one at a time.

This is a masterpiece that is carefully baked in the oven, with a crispy and fragrant exterior and a moist and rich interior. It has a refined sweetness and a thick texture, making it perfect for coffee time. It is recommended not only as a gift, but also as a treat for yourself.

Pierre Marcolini's chocolate making philosophy is "Bean to Home (R)," and the company handles everything from selecting the cocoa beans to manufacturing.
