[Review] Blue Bottle Coffee and Marimekko collaborate! Drinks and merchandise available for a limited time only

This time, we decided to check out the popular cafe "Blue Bottle Coffee Fukuoka Tenjin Cafe" and the popular brand "Marimekko" which are collaborating for a limited time!

Limited time offer until May 16th! "Blue Bottle Coffee Fukuoka Tenjin Cafe" x "Marimekko" collaboration (Tenjin, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

Blue Bottle Coffee Fukuoka Tenjin Cafe opened on the first floor of the Kego Shrine Office Building in Tenjin, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City on February 19, 2024. This is the second year since the cafe opened, and it is a popular cafe with many days when there are long lines.

Currently, for a limited time from Friday, April 25th to Friday, May 16th, 2025, we are collaborating with Marimekko, a Finnish design house loved around the world.

The exterior is also Marimekko-style! The Unikko pattern designed in Blue Bottle Coffee's signature colors is very cute.

Of course, the store is filled with Marimekko! Even the staff aprons are Marimekko designed during this period.

In addition, collaboration products are also available in limited quantities and will be sold until they are gone. They are all so cute!

From the left, they are the "Unikko Mug" (6,050 yen), "Espresso Cup and Saucer" (6,600 yen), at the top middle is the "Limited Edition Craft Instant Espresso Jar" (4,860 yen), at the bottom is the "Coffee Spoon" (2,750 yen), "Unikko Tumbler" (6,600 yen), and "Pins" (3,850 yen).

Other items that were also really cute were the "Unikko Tote" (7,700 yen) and "Unikko Apron" (9,900 yen) ♡ Some of the products are also available for purchase at all cafes and online shops.

Marimekko-themed lattes too!

Collaboration products are not only available as miscellaneous goods, but also as drinks!

This is the "Marimekko Latte" (819 yen for both hot and iced) that you can only drink during this period.

The drink was inspired by korvapuusti, a cinnamon roll that is a classic accompaniment to coffee in Finland, where Marimekko was born.

With just one sip, you'll taste a slight sweetness and a soft spicy flavor.

The secret is the "vanilla honey cinnamon syrup" that was specially developed for this collaboration with Blue Bottle Coffee. This is combined with carefully extracted espresso and beautiful latte art is drawn with smooth steamed milk (latte art is only available for hot drinks). The espresso can be changed to "blend" or "single origin" (+121 yen). You can also customize it to "decaf" or "oat milk".

The "Marimekko Latte" is paired with the "Liège Waffle" (641 yen), a staff recommendation and one of Blue Bottle Coffee's iconic menu items.

The dough is made with plenty of vanilla beans and is baked freshly after the order is placed, resulting in a crispy outside and fluffy inside. There's no way it won't be delicious!

I also ordered the classic drink "Mint Green Tea" (653 yen for both hot and iced).

The mint has a refreshing scent, making it perfect for the upcoming hot season.

The heavy and satisfying "Banana Pound Cake" (751 yen) is paired with this cake. It is made with soy flour, rice flour, and almond powder, and you can enjoy the rich flavor of banana.

It has a nice accent of rum and cinnamon, and would go well with coffee.
