A rooftop resort?! Empty-handed BBQ in front of Hakata Station "Grill Pier Yodobashi Hakata" (Hakataeki Chuo-gai, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City)

Grillpia Yodobashi Hakata opened on the rooftop of Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Hakata in Hakataeki Chuo-gai, Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City on April 11, 2025.

It is located right outside the Chikushi exit of JR Hakata Station, so transportation access is excellent.

When I arrived at the rooftop by elevator, the first thing that surprised me was how spacious and open it was!

There are rows of resort-style tables and chairs, and cacti and other ornaments in the center, so you might not even realize you're really so close to Hakata Station!

There are a total of 312 seats. You can choose between 12-person and 6-person seats, which are convenient for groups and families.

It has a roof so you can use it even on rainy days. Another plus is that it can be used all year round.

A large screen has also been installed, so it seems that in the future you will be able to enjoy live sports broadcasts!

"You can buy it at Lopia and grill it right away" - that convenience is great!

Buy some groceries at Shokusei Lopia, a supermarket on the 4th floor of Yodobashi Camera Multimedia Hakata, and then head straight to the rooftop.

You are free to bring your own ingredients, so you can choose only the meat and seafood you like, which is great.

You can also enjoy the meat from Lopia without having to go shopping, as there are "reservation sets" available (regular set 1,600 yen per person, extreme set 5,000 yen per person).

There is a drink bar in the central area, and they offer plans such as "soft drinks all-you-can-drink" (400 yen) and "alcohol drinks all-you-can-drink" (1,600 yen). You can bring your own drinks, but they also have ice and a wide selection of alcoholic drinks, so we recommend ordering the drink bar.

Yakiniku sauce often ends up being left over when you have a small BBQ. If you order the drink bar, you can use Lopia's original sauces as you like! Have fun trying different flavors.

The admission fee is 1,800 yen for adults and 900 yen for elementary school students from Monday to Friday, and 2,200 yen for adults and 1,100 yen for elementary school students on weekends and holidays.

Until the end of 2025, there will be special opening rates available: 1,600 yen for adults and 800 yen for elementary school students from Monday to Friday, and 2,000 yen for adults and 1,000 yen for elementary school students on weekends and holidays.

You don't need to bring large luggage, so you can stop by after shopping. What's more, it's fine even in the rain!

I never thought we'd be able to have such a proper barbecue on the rooftop of a building! It was a lot more fun than I'd imagined.
