A burger specialty store where rice is the main ingredient! You can also drink during the day at "comecome BURGER x Comecome SaKaBar Hirao Branch" (Hirao, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City)

The restaurant this time is "comecome BURGER x Kome Kome SaKaBar Hirao Branch," which opened in April 2024.

It is conveniently located near Hirao Yotsukado, about a 2-minute walk from Nishitetsu Hirao Station. Look for this large, eye-catching sign.

This restaurant is a joint venture between the rice burger specialty shop "comecome BURGER" and the "Komekome SaKaBar" where you can also enjoy drinks during the day. In addition to rice burgers, they also have a wide variety of menu items that combine izakaya and bistro cuisine, making it perfect for a girls' night out.

Up the stairs to the second floor is the eat-in space, which has both table and counter seating. The seats by the windows let in natural light, creating a bright atmosphere. The restaurant can also be rented out for private use for groups of 15 or more.

Surprisingly large portion! The 990 yen lunch set "Enmusubi" is amazing

What I'm looking for is the "Enmusubi" set meal (990 yen at lunchtime, 1,490 yen at dinnertime), which is perfect for lunch or dinner.

The set includes two "yaki-onigiri" (grilled rice balls) made with the same buns as the rice burger but with mixed grains, nine side dishes such as fried horse mackerel from Nagasaki Prefecture (delivered directly from Matsuura Fishing Port!), chicken nanban, and mentaiko rolled omelet, as well as miso soup and Yame tea - so the volume is simply amazing!

The grilled rice balls are fragrant on the outside and chewy on the inside. The fried horse mackerel is crispy, and the black vinegar chicken nanban is juicy and goes perfectly with the tartar sauce!

The miso soup also had a strong dashi flavor and was very delicious.

Each dish is handmade and is delicious and satisfying!　 What's more, you can enjoy it for just 990 yen during lunch time...it's amazing.

We'd also like to introduce you to their signature rice burger, the Enmusubi Burger.

The shop's three original buns, yellow, green, and red, are made from Kyushu-grown "Hinohikari" rice, mixed grains, and vegetable powder. No artificial colorings are used, and the colors are natural. They are made to order, so they are always fresh, fragrant on the outside, and fluffy on the inside. The sweetness of the rice stands out, bringing out the flavor of the ingredients.

Of the 13 items on the menu, here are our top three recommendations.

The "Kakuida Black Vinegar Chicken Nanban Enmusubi Burger" (486 yen) is served on a yellow pumpkin and turmeric bun. The juiciness of the chicken nanban and the volume are irresistible!

"Horse Mackerel Fried Enmusubi Burger" (529 yen) delivered directly from Matsuura Fishing Port in Nagasaki Prefecture on a green bun flavored with spinach and tea. The balance between the crispy batter and the soft meat is perfect. The generous amount of tartar sauce added to the satisfaction.

This is the "Salmon, Mentaiko, Dashimaki Enmusubi Burger" (583 yen) on a red bun with tomato and paprika. The thick rolled sushi is very impressive. It's a combination that can't go wrong.
