This time, we will introduce you to a restaurant where you can enjoy Mojiko Retro's specialty "yaki-curry" and vegan food ♡

Mojikoi (Minatomachi, Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City) - 9 types of cream soda and baked curry are very popular! The Taisho era retro interior stands out

Mojikoi is located on the first floor of the west building of Kaikyo Plaza, a commercial facility in the Mojiko Retro District of Kitakyushu City.

This cafe was opened in 2023 by the owner, who values food, including fresh local ingredients and carefully selected seasonings, with the theme of creating a space where anyone can enjoy a fun, delicious meal and relax.

The interior of the store is displayed in a way that is reminiscent of JR Mojiko Station.

Mojikoi is open every day from 10:00 to 20:00. It's perfect for lunch or dinner, or as a tea break from exploring Mojiko Port.

Mojiko's specialty "yaki-curry" is popular and comes in a wide variety of variations!

"Mojikoi" is a place where foods that are synonymous with Fukuoka Prefecture are gathered together.

This is the extremely popular Mojiko Port specialty grilled curry, "Hakata Mentaiko Cheese Grilled Curry" (1,780 yen).

The grilled curry and cheese are melty, Spicy Fish Eggs is spicy, and the curry is mellow, making a perfect match. It's a hearty meal, but you'll finish it in no time - it's so delicious you won't be able to stop eating it.

"Shrimp and Avocado Grilled Curry" (1,680 yen), which combines shrimp and avocado, is also popular for its deliciousness and high nutritional value!

The triangle of plump shrimp, rich avocado, and grilled curry is irresistible ♡ This grilled curry is popular among women.

Also, when you order grilled curry, you get unlimited salad, soup, boiled eggs, and pickles. This is great!

Also check out the vegan food! "Yaki-curry" and "Marude-katsu" made with great care

Speaking of "Mojikoi," the vegan food is something to look out for. Mojiko Retro is visited by many tourists from both within Japan and overseas, and since many of them are particular about their food, the restaurant also serves dishes that are suitable for vegans, gluten-free, halal, Taiwanese vegetarians, etc. *The restaurant has not been certified vegan or halal by a third party.

The "Vegan Spice Grilled Curry" (1,980 yen) and "Vegetable Cutlet" (500 yen), which do not contain any of the 28 specified ingredients for food allergies and are made using halal-certified seasonings, are apparently particularly popular.

Of course, this grilled curry also comes with an all-you-can-eat salad and other items.

The wide variety of cream sodas available have a retro shape and a nostalgic taste.

And! Another thing worth noting is the "Cream Soda" (689 yen), which is also on display at the storefront. *If you order by the glass, it's an additional 100 yen.

There are 9 different flavors to choose from! You might have a hard time deciding which flavor to choose, like melon, blue Hawaii, or strawberry.
