Popular old-style cafe lunch! "Very satisfying with dessert and drink" Limited set (reservations required) (Fukuoka)
Hello! I'm Hakata Aya, a writer who loves hot information about Fukuoka.
This time we will introduce a stylish cafe restaurant that was renovated from an old Japanese house.
Enjoy a relaxing time at a traditional Japanese cafe! "Fuji Sabo SUI" (Kotobukicho, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)
Fuji Sabo SUI is located in Kotobukicho, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City. It is in the Zasshonokuma area, a 9-minute walk from Nishitetsu Zasshonokuma Station and a 3-minute walk from JR Minami-Fukuoka Station.
There is a parking lot right in front of the store, so you can come by car with peace of mind.

The facility is a renovated traditional Japanese house that is over 70 years old and is scheduled to open in April 2022.
It's such a popular restaurant that customers come in one after another during lunch time and it fills up in no time.

You take off your shoes at the entrance, and there are tables and sunken kotatsu seats where you can feel the warmth of wood, making it the perfect place to spend some relaxing time.

A great deal with a mini salad, drink and dessert! Lunch-only "Gintengyo Set"
Meals include fresh pasta with a special chewy texture, pizza with a choice of fluffy and chewy hand-tossed or thin and flaky crispy crust, salad bowls with soup, as well as a la carte dishes and sweets.
The highlights are the three lunch-only sets, which allow you to choose your favorite pasta, pizza, or salad bowl, plus a drink (500-600 yen each) and a choice of dessert (450-660 yen each) for a better deal than ordering each dish separately.

The "Gintengyo Set" (plus 950 yen) is the shop's recommendation, and includes a mini salad, drink, and dessert.
The "Takeokacho Set" (+700 yen) comes with a mini salad and drink, while the "Kotobukicho Set" (+850 yen) comes with a dessert and drink.
The specialty "Kintaro Carbonara with 63.5℃ soft-boiled egg" and the lunch-only "Fuji Sabo French Toast with red bean paste"
The photo shows the "Gintengyo Set" (plus 950 yen) which includes "Kintaro Carbonara with 63.5℃ soft-boiled egg" (1,610 yen).
In addition to a mini salad and a drink, it comes with dessert. For dessert, I chose the shop's recommended "Fuji Sabo French Toast with Bean Paste" (only available at lunchtime, 650 yen apiece).

The signature dish is "Kintaro Carbonara with 63.5℃ soft-boiled egg."
Usually, the optional "cheese topping" is included for free (plus 250 yen for all menus other than Kintaro Carbonara), and when it's served, they'll grate Grana Padano cheese on it until you say "stop." It's nice to have plenty!
The soft-boiled eggs are made with fertilized Kintaro eggs from Fujino Kokaen in Nakagawa City. When you crack them with a fork, the soft, runny eggs mix beautifully with the carbonara.

The carbonara sauce is made using COCOROMISO from Ishimoto Junpei Brewery in Kagoshima Prefecture, and is rich and flavorful.
The mellowness of the eggs adds to the flavor, filling your mouth with happiness. The cheese sprinkled on top adds a nice flavor and makes it so delicious you won't be able to stop eating it.

"Fuji Sabo French Toast with Bean Paste" is a dish that will have you hooked with its balance of rich egg flavor and elegant sweetness.

A healthy treat: "Avocado Caesar Salad made with Kintaro Eggs" and a nostalgic "Fuji Sabo Pudding"
This is the colorful "Avocado Caesar Salad made with Kintaro Eggs" (1,630 yen). You can enjoy the crispy texture of the vegetables and the smoothness of the avocado at the same time.
The umami of the Kintaro Egg and the flavor of the cheese sprinkled all over it really stood out and it was delicious.

The dressing used is "Corn Creamy Dressing," which has a strong sweetness of corn. It was also sold in stores.

We also added the "Gintengyo Set." For dessert, we selected the "Fuji Sabo Pudding" (460 yen). The nostalgic visual is soothing!

It was firm and satisfying to eat, and the sweet taste made me feel warm and fuzzy♪
Although the "Gintengyo Set" is only available during the day, it can be enjoyed from 11:00 to 17:00, so it's great for a late lunch! You can spend a relaxing and luxurious time here.
It's a popular restaurant, so we recommend making a reservation. Be sure to stop by! (Text by Hakata Aya)
