This time we will introduce you to a stylish cafe that serves super popular sweets that are worth the trip all the way from Fukuoka!

Just a minute's walk from Kaikyokan! Enjoy the spectacular mille crepes at NIKO COFFE (Shimonoseki, Yamaguchi Prefecture)

NIKO COFFE opened in March 2024, located just a minute's walk from Shimonoseki City Aquarium Kaikyokan (closed until summer 2025) and close to Karato Market. The shop is extremely popular for its homemade mille crepes, which are only available until sold out.

The first floor is an eat-in space, and you order on the second floor and then relax on the first floor. Please note that payment is cashless only.

Pets are allowed inside the store. It's perfect for the upcoming warm season. *Please check with the store for details on rules regarding bringing pets.

The interior of the store is monochrome and stylish, so no matter where you take a photo, it will look great.

Limited time only! A hearty "Strawberry Mille Crepe"

The limited-time menu item "Strawberry Mille Crepes" (1,380 yen) will be available until the end of April 2025. It's full of strawberries!

The crepe dough is chewy and goes perfectly with the sweet cream.

The abundance of strawberries and the gentle sweetness that spread softly in your mouth were amazing.

This time, I also tried the staff recommended "NIKO LATTE" (570 yen).

A mild latte made with organic bamboo charcoal, with a slightly sweet taste.

It goes well with the sweet mille crepes. This combination was recommended by the staff, and it was truly the best combination!

The "Tiramisu Sandwich Pie" (610 yen, front photo below) is a popular item made with rich mascarpone cheese and has become a regular menu item. The gently sweet mascarpone cream goes well with coffee.
