[New Tenjin store] A popular yakiniku restaurant from Tokyo has arrived in Kyushu for the first time! Exquisite thick-sliced meat grilled by a "grill master" (Fukuoka)
Hello! I'm Hakata Aya, a writer who loves hot information about Fukuoka.
This time, we will introduce a new and popular yakiniku restaurant that opened in the Tenjin area. This famous restaurant, popular in the Kanto region, has finally opened in Kyushu for the first time.
The first in Kyushu! A popular yakiniku restaurant in the Kanto region, "Yakiniku Toraj Tenjin Branch" (Tenjin, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City)
Yakiniku Torajji Tenjin Branch opened at Hulic Square Fukuoka Tenjin on January 31, 2025. It is located along Meiji Dori, next to Fukuoka Parco, and directly connected to Tenjin Station on the subway, making it extremely accessible.

Yakiniku Toraj is a restaurant that was established in Ebisu, Tokyo in 1995. It is popular for being able to enjoy high-quality yakiniku in a special atmosphere with high-quality meat. It has expanded mainly in the Kanto region, and the Tenjin store is actually the first in Kyushu!

The sophisticated space incorporating traditional Fukuoka crafts exudes a sense of luxury!
The interior of the restaurant is beautiful, incorporating the traditional craft of Okawa, Fukuoka, "Okawa Kumiko" and earthen walls that resemble strata. In addition to table seating, there are counter seats, semi-private rooms, and private rooms.
The semi-private rooms offer a relaxing atmosphere.

The counter seats by the window can seat two people side by side, making them perfect for dates or girls' nights. You can also comfortably enjoy yakiniku by yourself while enjoying the view outside.

The private room for four people is separated by a partition, but it can be removed to accommodate larger groups. A variety of seating options are available to suit different occasions.

You'll be hooked on the thick cuts of meat cooked by our skilled chefs.
The signature dish at Yakiniku Toraj is the 2cm thick "Salted Tongue - Thick Slice" (3,700 yen).

Yakiniku Toraj has been proposing thick-cut style since the restaurant first opened, based on the belief that thick cuts bring out the best flavor in meat.

There are a variety of kalbi and skirt steak menu items, but the "Diamond Cut Kalbi" (2,350 yen/150g) and "Diamond Cut Skirt Steak" (2,700 yen/150g) are particularly excellent dishes, with the meat cut in a cross pattern making it even more tender and bringing out the maximum flavor.

The appeal of these "Salted Tongue - Thick Sliced", "Diamond Cut Kalbi" and "Diamond Cut Skirt Steak" is that they are grilled right in front of you by a "grill master" using TORAJI's unique "lid grilling" method! You can enjoy them at their most delicious.

By the way, the famous Yukgaejang noodles (1,200 yen) was the perfect final dish, with the spicy soup and chewy noodles combining to create an addictive flavor.
