All-you-can-eat hotel parfaits for 2 hours for 2,400 yen! A popular event with a selection of exquisite items (Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

Hello. This is Chihi Log, a casual website that provides information about Fukuoka, with a focus on gourmet food.

This time, I went to the very popular all-you-can-eat parfait restaurant.

Easy access from both Tenjin and Hakata! Always popular ♡ All-you-can-eat parfaits at "Fukuoka Sunpalace Hotel & Hall" (Chikkohonmachi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)

The Fukuoka Sunpalace Hotel & Hall is easily accessible, just 10 minutes from either Tenjin or Hakata by Nishitetsu bus.

If you take the subway, it is about an 11-minute walk from Gofukumachi Station on the Hakozaki Line.

Our destination this time is Restaurant & Cafe Lagoon on the first floor, where we will be enjoying the limited-time event "Spring Moments: All-you-can-eat Spring Parfaits" from January 18th to April 30th, 2025.

It is a two-hour system from 14:00 to 16:00 (last order 15:30), and the price is 2,400 yen for adults (elementary school students and above) (2,200 yen if you make a reservation the day before), 1,200 yen for preschoolers (1,100 yen if you make a reservation the day before), and free for children under 3. You can add a drink bar (soft drinks) for an additional 300 yen.

The all-you-can-eat parfait event is always popular, but this will be the first time it is held in the spring in three years.

The sweets prepared by the hotel's head chef are all so delicious that you'll want to return again and again.

[Until April 30th] "Spring Moments - All-you-can-eat Spring Parfait" where you can eat as many of the seven flavors as you like

At "Spring Moments - All-you-can-eat Spring Parfaits," you can enjoy a total of seven types of parfaits: four types of "spring-colored parfaits," one type of "seasonal parfait," and two types of "Japanese sweets."

Another great thing about the parfaits is that you can choose between full size or half size. Trying all the different types is no longer a dream!

I will introduce them one by one.

Strawberry and chocolate parfait

A classic parfait that combines seasonal strawberries, chocolate, and vanilla ice cream.

The overall flavor is rich with the tartness of the strawberries! I also love that it has raw chocolate on top.

Tangerine Parfait

This parfait, made with anmitsu jelly and orange jelly, is unique to a Japanese chef.

The flavor of the yogurt and the sourness of the mandarin oranges were a perfect match, giving it a refreshing taste that made me want to eat more than one.

Strawberry Milk Parfait

This is also a Japanese-style strawberry parfait with anmitsu as the base.

Diced strawberries and panna cotta topped with a generous dollop of condensed milk. It was a masterpiece that had the flavor of fresh strawberries and a hint of milky sweetness.

Hokkaido Soft Serve and Mixed Fruit Parfait

This parfait is topped with plenty of soft serve ice cream delivered directly from Kitahiro Farm in Shintoku Town (Tokachi area), Hokkaido. It's rich but not too sweet, so it's perfect for an all-you-can-eat meal!

This is a standard menu item in the all-you-can-eat parfait at Fukuoka Sunpalace Hotel & Hall, but the bottom part changes depending on the season, and this time it was a colorful mixed fruit jelly! It was luxurious to be able to enjoy various flavors.

Strawberry Gyuhi Daifuku and dumplings (soybean flour, red bean)

Among the all-you-can-eat parfait menu items, the "Gyuhi Daifuku" is just as popular as the parfaits! This time, it comes in a strawberry version.

You can also enjoy "Dumplings (soybean flour, red bean)".

Be sure to check out the "seasonal parfaits" too!

You won't want to miss out on the "Seasonal Parfaits," which will be available in a total of three varieties during the period.

From January 18th to February 16th, there will be a Valentine's Day themed "Jewel Parfait", from February 17th to March 16th, there will be a White Day themed "Apple Parfait", and from March 17th to April 30th, there will be a "Kiwi Parfait" with a fresh greenery theme.

In fact, the "Jewel Parfait" and "Apple Parfait" were created by students of the "Fukuoka Hotel, Wedding & Confectionery Cooking College" as part of an industry-academia collaboration project. They were selected from 16 teams after a rigorous presentation process.

[January 18th to February 16th] Jewel Parfait

"Jewel Parfait" was born from the desire of three students (Yamashita Haruka, Yamakawa Sakura, and Yoshinaga Nanami) to "make a parfait that looks like a beautiful jewel box." The two colors, red and white, represent a jewel box.

The entire parfait is made up of five layers, and apparently it took a lot of trial and error to decide on the order in which the layers are layered, as well as the position of the strawberries on the side of the glass. It was a parfait that allowed you to enjoy the changes in taste and texture right up to the last bite.

[February 17th to March 16th] Apple Parfait

*We were given special permission to try it before it was served.

The "Apple Parfait" was created by two students (Akazaki Risa and Kubo Ami) based on the theme of "chosen love," which is the flower language of apples.

As it is an all-you-can-eat menu, the goal was to create a dish that is filling yet light in flavor so that customers would want to eat as many as they could.

It is made up of various parts, such as candy sculpture, ice cream, compote, yogurt cream, flakes, raspberry jelly, and lemon jelly, and each part is delicious. The overall balance is also excellent, and the taste makes you want to eat as many as you can.

The apple on top is a crunchy candy sculpture! We were shown how it is made, and we were surprised at how quickly it was completed. It would be great to take a photo of it, and even take a video of the process of splitting it open.

The "Kiwi Parfait" available from March 17th to April 30th is a parfait made by the hotel's head chef. It is an "all-kiwi" parfait, using not only fresh kiwis, but also kiwi ice cream and kiwi sauce.
