[Kurume Cafe] A popular shop with a stylish atmosphere and a fascinating cheesecake that will have you hooked in just one bite!
Hello. I'm Yuri and I love stylish cafes.
This time, we will introduce you to a cafe where you can enjoy delicious cheesecake.
*Menu prices may change after February 2025.
Opening in July 2024! A stylish and cozy cafe, "IN PATIO Cafe" (Kurume City)
IN PATIO Cafe is quietly located near the bank of the Chikugo River in Aokijima, Jojima-cho, Kurume City.
The shop opened on July 19, 2024 and is well-known for its handmade sweets that are made with a focus on ingredients and flavor.
Look for this sign on the road. There is a parking lot behind the sign.
The interior of the store, which was renovated from a warehouse, has a calm atmosphere with a white motif.
Natural light pours in through the windows, making the space stylish and picturesque no matter where you look.
For eat-in customers, one drink order per person is required. *Must be junior high school students or older.
Takeaway cookies (four varieties: "Plain," "Dark Chocolate & Orange," "Caramel & Cinnamon," and "Chocolate & Marshmallow," 300 yen each) are sold near the register, making them perfect as gifts or to go with coffee.
You'll be hooked after just one bite! Enjoy this enchanting cheesecake♡
What I would like to introduce to you today is the shop's signature dish, cheesecake.
Currently, four types are available: "Double Lemon," "Red Bean Paste Yame Matcha," "Triple Chocolate," and "Ube Cheesecake" (580 yen each).
This is "Double Lemon" (580 yen).
This cheesecake is made up of two layers of "Rare Lemon Cake" and "Baked Rare Lemon Cake".
Not only can you enjoy two different textures, but the salt cracker base is topped with lemon peel confit, creating a wonderful overall balance.
It has a mild sour taste and cheese-specific aroma, so I would recommend it to people who don't usually choose cheesecake! My kids also gave it rave reviews, saying it was delicious.
"Triple Chocolate" (580 yen) is also recommended.
It's full of chocolate: chocolate cookie dough, baked chocolate, chocolate ganache cream, and even Oreo chocolate on top!
Although it looks like a chocolate cake, it has the refined taste of a cheesecake. It is not too sweet and is very light to eat.
It's sure to satisfy both adults and children. We also recommend eating it with the raspberry sauce that comes with it.
Next, let's introduce the drinks.
This is "Earl Grey" (480 yen).
This flavored tea has a refreshing citrus scent. It goes perfectly with cheesecake. The HOT version is placed on top of a candle, so you can drink it warm anytime.
And finally, "Cafe Latte" (500 yen).
This also goes well with cheesecake.
The drink menu is extensive, so you can enjoy it no matter how many times you visit. Try to find your favorite cheesecake and drink combination.
In addition to the cafe, we also recommend visiting the goat pasture, which is just a five-minute walk away. It is open to the public and you can interact with the goats freely, which is sure to get the kids excited!
I want to go back to the cafe and the goat pasture soon!
I hope you all will also go and check it out. (Text by Yuri-chan)
