The chief priest of Fukushima Yahata established this shop with the desire to provide a place where people could relax after worshipping at the shrine, and to allow visitors from all over Japan and abroad to experience the shrine culture and food of Yame.

This wonderful space that makes use of an old house is actually a renovated space from the owner's parents' home.

All of the ingredients used in the dishes and sweets are lucky charms that have been blessed!

What's noteworthy is that all of the ingredients used in the food and sweets served at this cafe have been "blessed."

In addition to "making sure that the offerings are utilized so as not to waste them," "the priests purify the ingredients before cooking them," and all of the ingredients used are apparently "auspicious."

"The chief priest," "the family home," "a blessing being given over the ingredients"...it's all so amazing!

We will introduce menus made with such auspicious ingredients.

God's Meal

This luxurious meal is called "God's Meal" (2,750 yen).

The main dish is "Deep-fried sea bream with its scales still attached." You can enjoy the sweetness of the sea bream itself, its crispy scales, and its plump flesh with Yame matcha salt.

On the same plate, the colorful "Three Meals Rice Balls" are also served. The two-tiered stack of white rice rice balls, black rice rice balls, Yame tea rice balls, and matcha chirimen rice balls evokes the image of a bountiful harvest.

The "Tai Dashi Soup" is a rich, flavorful soup made with dashi stock from sea bream bones, sacred sake and salt to bring out the flavor of the ingredients, and garnished with red and white carrots and daikon radishes.

"Yame Vegetable Salad" is made with plenty of seasonal Yame vegetables and fruits, and the special sauce is made with strawberries and onions.

"Matcha Crème Brulee" is a rich crème brûlée made with the finest Yame matcha.

Auspicious Chazuke

The "Happy Chazuke" (1,980 yen) is a chazuke made with black rice and sea bream. It is first enjoyed with perilla leaves, and then with Yame tea leaves. This is a dish that allows you to fully enjoy the deliciousness of Yame tea.
