An exquisite parfait filled with freshly picked strawberries! A popular cafe attached to a farm that's worth the trip (Hirokawa Town)

Hello. I'm Yuri and I love seasonal fruits.

This time, we will introduce a cafe attached to a strawberry farm in Hirokawa Town, Yame County.

Locavore, a cafe where you can enjoy freshly picked strawberry sweets that morning (Hirokawa Town, Yame District)

Locavore is located about 1 hour and 20 minutes by car from central Fukuoka City and about 3 minutes by car from the Hirokawa Interchange on the Kyushu Expressway.

This cafe, attached to "Hirokawa Strawberry Farm," offers a variety of locally-sourced sweets. It is especially popular from winter to early spring, when you can enjoy sweets made with fresh strawberries harvested at "Hirokawa Strawberry Farm"!

The deliciousness is second to none! A luxurious parfait filled with freshly picked strawberries♡

What I'm looking for this time is the "Strawberry Brulee Parfait" (1,800 yen with drink), which can be enjoyed for a limited time until around May.

It's so exciting to watch them caramelize the meat over a burner right in front of you ♡

Strawberries have the perfect balance of sweetness and sourness!

Under the brulee custard cream and vanilla ice cream and crispy meringue cookies...

Along with the strawberries, there's rich custard cream, fluffy Taiwanese castella cake, and whipped cream! You can enjoy a variety of textures and flavors, and it's delicious.

The drinks that come with the set can be chosen from "Coffee (Iced/Hot)", "Black Tea (Iced/Hot)", "Oolong Tea (Iced/Hot)", "Orange Juice", or "Apple Juice".

If you change to the "Bear Bottle" for an additional 200 yen, you can choose from "Coffee Jelly Latte," "Matcha Latte," "Cafe Latte," "Calpis," "Blue Lemon Squash," "100% Orange," "Earl Grey Tea," "Peach Juice," "Peach Lemon Squash," "100% Apple," "Iced Coffee," "Caramel Macchiato," and "Cafe Mocha."

Even if you drink in the store, you can take the "Kuma Bottle" home with you.

From December 27, 2024, they will be offering a limited number of "Strawberry Brulee Pancakes" (2,300 yen with drink), so don't miss that either. This will also be available for a limited time until around May.

Take-out menu also attracts attention

In addition to eat-in, there is also a take-out menu available.

This is the take-out "Freshly Picked Strawberry Parfait" (1,500 yen). Available for a limited time until around May, it is filled with plenty of strawberries, just like the eat-in parfait.

The "Strawberry Sweets Tin" (900 yen) is also cute and contains Taiwanese castella, custard, whipped cream and strawberries. It would make a great souvenir. This is also available for a limited time until around May.

You can also experience picking strawberries by reservation. Next time I'd like to try it with my children.
