Yakiniku Sakaba Nikumaru is a yakiniku restaurant with multiple locations throughout Fukuoka Prefecture.
The Yakiniku Sakaba Nikumaru Heiwadori branch we will be introducing this time is located about a 1-minute walk from Heiwadori Station on the Kitakyushu Monorail.
One of the features of "Nikumaru" is that you can enjoy "authentic charcoal grilled yakiniku" at "all counter seats." Right in front of you is your own personal charcoal grill.
The meat is carefully selected A4 to A5 rank Japanese Black Beef, and you can order just one slice, so you can enjoy as much of your favorite cut as you like.
By the way, charcoal will be added to the charcoal grill after you place your order. The fragrant charcoal grilled meat is extremely delicious.
7 types, 350g! The popular "Meat Platter Set" is back!
This time, I heard that a popular set that was previously offered had been revived, so I went to try it.
This is the "Meat Platter Set" (2,178 yen), which comes with a whopping 350g of seven different kinds of meat.
The meat options include Wagyu beef loin, kalbi, tongue kalbi, mixed innards, pork belly, gizzard shad, and sausages, and if you order each item individually it would be worth 3,179 yen, so this alone feels like a good deal, but there are also grilled vegetables hidden under the meat, and it also comes with a choice of three other dishes.
The "Choice of 3 Items" can be chosen from five options: "Kaku Highball," "Lemon Fizz," "Soft Drink," "Chinese Cabbage Kimchi," and "White Rice."
The meat is piled high at about 12cm. It's very filling!
This time, the "3 items to choose from" were "White rice" (large, medium, small, single item price 253 yen and up), "Chinese cabbage kimchi" (single item price 418 yen), and "Soft drink" (single item price 418 yen and up). I ordered oolong tea. The other two were "Kaku Highball" (single item price 605 yen) and "Homemade Lemon Fizz" (single item price 495 yen), so if you combine them well, you can enjoy a great deal♪
I put all the meat and Chinese cabbage kimchi on top of the white rice. Amazing!
It was a very happy time, eating plenty of meat grilled over charcoal.
Orders can be placed all day (17:00-24:00 *23:00 on Sundays).
Not just a meat platter set! The specialty menu of "Nikumaru Heiwa-dori store"
We ordered the specialty dishes as well as other menu items, so we'd like to introduce them to you!
The "Meat Platter Set" does not come with an "appetizer," but other orders come with "Seared Sirloin Meat Sushi" (appetizer fee 300 yen) as an "appetizer."
This is offered so that customers can experience the quality of the meat first. The staff will finish it by grilling it over a burner.
The high-quality meat and each piece of carefully prepared rice blended together perfectly in the mouth, making for an incredibly delicious dish.
Gokuraku Sushi
Besides the appetizers, there are plenty of other special meat sushi dishes that you should definitely try!
"Gokuraku Sushi" (748 yen per piece) is a luxurious meat sushi that combines high-quality ingredients such as sea urchin, salmon roe, and Japanese black beef. This is also grilled over a burner.
The accents of sea urchin and salmon roe really bring out the deliciousness of the melt-in-the-mouth Japanese Black Beef.

We also recommend the "4-piece assortment" (1,518 yen) which includes 2 pieces of each of "seared fatty tuna" (418 yen per piece) and "lean meat" (385 yen per piece)!
Be sure to first enjoy the deliciousness of the finest Kuroge Wagyu beef with meat sushi.
Thickly sliced fatty tuna tongue
The original specialty menu item "Thick-Cut Otorotan" (1,628 yen) is only available at the Heiwa-dori store. It is available in limited quantities.
This extremely rare cut of meat - only 200g of which can be obtained from one cow - can be enjoyed in such thick slices...!
When you order this dish, the staff will cook it to perfection right in front of you and serve it to you.
It's an exquisite taste that you should definitely try.
Raw tongue steak
Another dish you should definitely order is the "Shrimp Tongue Steak" (1,298 yen).
Soft and chewy raw tongue steak.
The more you chew, the more juicy the flavor spreads throughout your mouth. The aroma of the charcoal grill enhances the deliciousness, creating a luxurious taste!
I thought it was reasonable to be able to enjoy such high quality charcoal grilled meat at this price.
