[Ogura Morning] Enjoy from 7am to 3pm! A stylish cafe with popular sweets (Kitakyushu City)

Hello! I'm Honosuke, and I love spending time relaxing in stylish cafes.

This time, we will introduce you to a cafe in Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu where you can enjoy breakfast and sweets.

"Monaural" Cafe: Enjoy an extraordinary experience in a stylish space (Daimon, Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City)

Cafe bar "monaural" opened in April 2024.

It operates as a cafe from 7:00 to 15:00, and as a bar from 17:00 to 22:30 on irregular days.

It's located a 4-minute walk from JR Nishi-Kokura Station, so it's convenient to get there by train.

The interior of the store has a calm atmosphere, but it's not quiet...some people were relaxing by themselves, while others were having a lively chat, and it seemed like everyone was enjoying their time there.

You can also enjoy your favorite music by using the in-store exclusive "cassette tape rental" (500 yen).

They said that it was possible to enter the store with a stroller as long as it wasn't busy, and they welcomed me and my son (1 year old) warmly.

There are seats on the first and second floors, and this time I spent on the first floor. The first floor has table seats and counter seats.

Delicious looking baked goods were lined up in the glass dome on the first floor counter.

Almost all menu items, including baked goods, are available for takeout.

First, check out the dessert menu!

Inside the glass dome is my favorite "Plain Scone" (250 yen)! I couldn't pass this up. I also ordered a "Cafe Latte (Hot)" (660 yen) with beautiful latte art.

The "Plain Scone" was delicious, with a light sweetness and a crispy texture.

This is the most popular "Ogura Pudding" (660 yen). It is topped with "Ice Cream" (+100 yen)♪

It has a mature taste with plenty of bittersweet caramel sauce. It has a firm texture and is satisfying to eat. It goes perfectly with the "Hot Tea" (440 yen) that comes with it.

This is the "Coffee Cheesecake" (720 yen) available for a limited time (end date undecided). Combined with the "Cafe Latte (Iced)" (660 yen), you can enjoy the owner's proud coffee in a drink and dessert!

The "Coffee Cheesecake" is a moist and rich baked cheesecake. With just one bite, the coffee flavor spreads throughout your mouth and it was delicious.

Enjoy the popular "Morning" menu any time the cafe is open!

You might think that you have to get up early to eat this morning meal... But at Monaural, you can order it any time the cafe is open (7:00-15:00)! You can also enjoy it on days when you've had a relaxing morning at home.

This is the "Morning" (600 yen). It consists of toast, salad, and soup. This time, I added eggs (+100 yen) and bacon (+100 yen) as toppings (total 800 yen).

The toast is seasoned with salt, so it's delicious just as is. It's even more delicious when topped with egg salad and bacon.

It's also nice that it comes with soup! It will warm you up.

I was able to escape from my daily routine and spend some relaxing and enjoyable time with my son.

Next time, I'd like to try the weekday lunch "Hot Sandwich" (660 yen) or the weekend lunch "Lu Rou Fan" (880 yen) ♪
