[Canal] Great for lunch! "Highly praised by noodle-loving writers" Super spicy and delicious "Korean noodles" (Fukuoka City)
Hello. I'm Yuri and I love ramen.
This time, we will introduce you to an excellent Korean restaurant located in Canal City Hakata.
A casual atmosphere but authentic Korean food! "Apuro Shokudo" (Sumiyoshi, Hakata Ward, Fukuoka City)
Apuro Shokudo is located on the basement floor of the North Building in Canal City Hakata.
This popular restaurant has a reputation for offering casual Korean cuisine at reasonable prices.
They have a wide variety of menu items such as Yukgaejang, Kimbap, Ganjang Chicken, Seolleongtang, and many tourists from Korea visit. The homey atmosphere is also appealing.
The restaurant has table seating and counter seating.
The interior, tableware, and cutlery are all very Korean.
Very satisfying! "Korean noodles" with a delicious, spicy flavor that will become addictive
What we would like to introduce to you today is the Korean noodle menu that has been available since November 2024!
Currently, the "Korean Noodle Fair" (end date undecided) is in full swing, so you can enjoy four types of Korean noodles: "Jajangmyeon" (1,100 yen), "Yukgaejang Ramen" (1,280 yen), "Korean Champon" (1,300 yen), and "Soondubu Ramen" (1,180 yen).
This is "Yukkejang Ramen." This is an authentic Korean ramen with a vivid and straight-up spicy yukgaejang soup.
It's served in a piping hot iron pot so it never gets cold.
When you think of Korea, you think of these dried noodles that look like instant ramen.
This alone gives it a different taste from Japanese ramen.
When you flip the noodles over, you'll find chunks of meat at the bottom!
The beef tail and tendon meat are stewed until tender and absolutely delicious! This is a must-try!
I finished the extremely hot and spicy ramen while frothing at the mouth and sweating profusely (lol).
Next up is "Korean Champon."
This addictive dish has a soup that is full of the delicious flavors of seafood such as shrimp, squid, clams, and mussels.
It is completely different from Kyushu's champon, but it is worthy of being called champon because it uses champon noodles and has a complex flavor with plenty of ingredients.
Normally when I eat noodles, I like to drink up the soup, too, but this time it was too spicy for me, so I gave up. However, it was still delicious, so if you like spicy food, I recommend you give it a try!
They will be open throughout the New Year holidays as well. Please stop by. (Text by Yuri-chan)
