This time, we will introduce a chicken restaurant in Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City.

"Ofuku Moji Main Branch," a chicken restaurant, is quietly located in a residential area, a four-minute walk from JR Moji Station.

It has won the Grand Prix Gold Award five times at the National Fried Chicken Grand Prix (Japan Fried Chicken Association). It is a well-established, famous restaurant that was founded in 1962 and is loved by many people. In addition to the main store in Moji, there is also a store in Shimonoseki.

Both eat-in and take-out are available, and the restaurant has both table seating and sunken kotatsu seating.

There are 6 types of fried chicken on the menu! The most popular is the "chicken wing"

Ofuku offers a wide variety of chicken dishes.

The specialty menu item is the "Onigawarayaki" (1,100 yen per piece), a deep-fried half chicken!

There are six other types of fried chicken available, including "Chikugiri" (1,100 yen per portion), which is "Onigawarayaki" cut into bite-sized pieces, and the limited-edition "Yabakei Momo" (836 yen), which uses chicken thigh meat from Yabakei Town, Oita Prefecture.

The most popular dish is the "Chicken Wings" (990 yen per portion). One portion contains about 7 to 8 wings, so if you order multiple portions, they will come all on one plate.

It's so delicious you'll be addicted to it. If you don't like spicy food, you can order it without the spices.

You can also purchase take-out fried chicken at Yume Mart (Moji store, Tsunemi store, Higashi Moji store, Shin Shimonoseki store, Sone store) and on the first basement floor of Ogura Izutsuya (Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays only).
