[Dazaifu Lunch] A 3-minute walk from the station! A cozy cafe serving delicious keema curry (Fukuoka)

Hello. I'm Yuri and I love stylish cafes.

This time, we will introduce some recommended cafes located on the approach to Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine.

A must-visit when strolling around Dazaifu! Cafe Shiraume (Dazaifu City) where you can enjoy a view of the approach to the shrine

(※) The official name of the store has an accent mark "accent taege" above the "e"

Cafe Shiraume is located a 3-minute walk from Nishitetsu Dazaifu Station.

It opened in August 2020 on the second floor of a building called "UEDA BLD" along the approach to the shrine.

The restaurant has both table and counter seats, providing a relaxing space in a busy area.

You can even bring your own food and drinks (one order per person is required), making it a perfect place to stop by for a break while sightseeing in Dazaifu.

If you sit at the counter, you can enjoy a view of the approach to the shrine.

Very satisfying! "Dazaifu Curry" with addictive spice flavor

What we would like to introduce this time is the signature dish, "Dazaifu Curry (Spice Keameal)" (1,320 yen).

Keema curry made with eggplant and minced meat is served on top of saffron rice, and is stylishly surrounded by seasonal vegetables.

The vegetables change depending on the season and what's available, and on this day they had sweet potatoes, burdock, pumpkin, cherry tomatoes, king oyster mushrooms, and shishito peppers.

The curry tastes more authentic, ethnic and spicy than it looks.

It's quite spicy from the moment you put it in your mouth, but it's so delicious that you'll become addicted.

This is the "Strawberry Smoothie" (800 yen), which is only available for takeout.

Apparently it uses the equivalent of 16 strawberries, making it truly luxurious!

Since it's served in a pouch with a straw, it seems like it would be great for eating on the go.

Another great thing about it is that you can enjoy it all year round! It's irresistible for strawberry lovers ♡

By the way, "Strawberry Amazake" will start on November 24th. From around mid-December, take-out "Strawberry Daifuku" will also be on sale. *This may vary depending on the availability of strawberries.
