Bread in the 100 yen range! A bakery popular with locals (Fukutsu City) that's "great for a dry lunch"
Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.
This time, I would like to introduce a favorite bakery that my family has visited many times. It is also a great place to visit on a drive to "Kagami no Umi" in Fukutsu.

A great place to take the kids! A popular bakery loved by locals: "Mugi no Kaori Fukutsu Branch" (Fukutsu City)
Mugi no Kaori Fukutsu store is located a 10-minute walk from JR Fukuma Station.
The shop prides itself on its bread baked in a "real stone oven" from Spain, and also has a store in Mizumaki Town, Onga District.

There is a large parking lot, so it is convenient to go by car.
When you enter the store, you'll see rows of freshly baked bread!

On the day I visited, the Halloween fair was in full swing, so there were breads lined up that used plenty of seasonal ingredients, such as "Maple Jack" (220 yen), "Ghost Bread" (176 yen), "Ghost Sandwich" (308 yen), "Pumpkin Muffin" (308 yen), and "Halloween Cookies" (275 yen).

The classics include the "Pont Neuf" (220 yen), which has been very popular since the store opened and is filled with melted cream cheese,

Panini Bacon
"Panini Bacon" (495 yen for eat-in / 488 yen for take-out) is a thick bacon, tomato, sliced onion, cheese and basil sauce. The contrast between the crispy bread and the juicy bacon is amazing. The aroma of basil is also great.

Teriyaki Chicken
"Teriyaki Chicken" (242 yen for eat-in / 238 yen for take-out) is luxuriously filled with thick-cut chicken. It's not too sweet and goes down easy. The special teriyaki sauce is also homemade!

Bacon and Eggs
"Bacon Eggs" (198 yen for eat-in / 194 yen for take-out) made with carefully selected rich, high-quality eggs. The soft, half-cooked yolk and bacon mix together in your mouth, creating a blissful moment.

"Choco Choco Choco" (eat-in 121 yen / take-out 119 yen) is topped with plenty of sliced almonds and a refined finish with sugar powder. The crispy Danish and chocolate chips go perfectly together.

The "Cheese Roll" (154 yen for eat-in / 151 yen for take-out) is filled with thick, long pieces of cheese and is a must-have for cheese lovers. The breadcrumbs on top added a crispy texture, making it the perfect bite.

The fluffy and creamy custard in the "Cream Bun" (154 yen for eat-in / 151 yen for take-out) is handmade and has a rich and creamy flavor.

Small Wiener
The cute little "Chibi Wieners" (eat-in 121 yen / take-out 119 yen) are perfect for breakfast or a snack. I think they're a favorite flavor for kids and adults alike. The freshly baked taste is exceptional!
