[Izakaya near Kokura Station] Total weight 1.3 kg! "Large serving" meat teppan with all-you-can-eat rice (Kitakyushu)

This time, we will introduce you to the huge portion menu of an authentic Korean restaurant in Kokura, offering great value for money!

Just a 2-minute walk from Kokura Station! Enjoy authentic Korean cuisine at "Kokura Korean Izakaya Kadonoya" (Kyomachi, Kokurakita Ward, Kitakyushu City)

"Kokura Korean Izakaya Kadonoya" is located about a 2-minute walk from JR Kokura Station.

This is a restaurant I've always loved because you can enjoy authentic Korean food at reasonable prices.

The restaurant has 40 seats, with a spacious interior centered around counter seats and tables near the entrance.

Many of the menu items are cooked and prepared right in front of you, and the friendly staff create a homely atmosphere.

There is also a private room at the back of the restaurant, a little away from the other seats. It can accommodate up to 14 people, so it's perfect for large groups!

Total weight 1.3kg for two people! Large portion menu with all-you-can-eat rice "Kadoya Jiro Nikuteppan"

What I was looking for was the Jiro-style teppan "Kadonoya Jiro Niku Teppan" (1,590 yen per portion, includes all-you-can-eat rice).

Orders start from two people, and each person must order one drink. If you order two servings, the total weight will be about 1.3 kg, so it's very filling! *All photos below are for two people.

The amount of meat was a whopping 300 grams! With such a large volume in front of me, I wondered if I would be able to handle it, but when I tried it, it was surprisingly light and I ate the whole thing in no time.

That's because there's a generous layer of bean sprouts underneath the meat, as well as plenty of chives and spring onions. Eating these vegetables together with the meat will have you eating your chopsticks in no time.

The dish is seasoned with authentic Korean kimchi and a homemade sauce, so it's less spicy than it looks, and the flavor and umami of the meat, vegetables, and other ingredients really stands out.

It was so delicious I became addicted to it.

Another great thing about this meal is that it comes with all-you-can-eat rice. I couldn't hide my delight at how generous the meal was!

Of course, meat on the teppan and rice go perfectly together! You won't be able to stop eating. If you want to concentrate on the meat on the teppan, you can choose not to order rice!

If you have room in your stomach, we recommend ordering the "Cadobonara" (490 yen for two servings) as the final dish. Make sure to save some of the meat on the iron plate.

The staff will add the homemade sauce and then add the noodles.

Add egg yolk and finish by grating cheese on top.

The Korean-style meat on the hot plate took on a Western flavor similar to carbonara! The umami flavors from the meat and vegetables mixed with the noodles created an exquisite taste.

I was so thrilled to discover that such a great deal and delicious menu was hidden in Kokura!
