You'll be amazed by the fluffy, melt-in-your-mouth offal! A "Motsunabe" Izakaya recommended for families with children (Kasuga City)

Hello. I'm Yuri and I love going out with my kids.

This time, we will introduce a restaurant in Kasuga City where you can enjoy motsunabe.

Recommended for families with children! "Hakata Motsunabe Hakkei" (Kasuga City)

"Hakata Motsunabe Hakkei" is located a 5-minute walk from Hakata Minami Station on the JR Hakata Minami Line.

Their signature dish is "Motsunabe" (offal hotpot), made with a rich, flavorful chicken-based soup and carefully prepared, extremely fresh domestic wagyu beef offal. This is a restaurant that even people who don't like offal should visit.

The restaurant has an atmosphere that is welcoming for groups and families, and there are tatami seating and sunken kotatsu seats on the first and second floors.

Eating motsunabe with children can be quite a challenge, but this restaurant provides chairs and tableware for children, and I was happy to see the child-friendly atmosphere.

Choose from 5 types of "Motsunabe" ♡ Enjoy fluffy, odorless motsu and flavorful soup

Orders are placed using the touch panel on the table.

You can choose from five types of motsunabe: "Miso flavor" (1,760 yen), "Soy sauce flavor" (1,760 yen), "Tasty salt flavor" (1,870 yen), "Tasty spicy soy sauce" (1,870 yen), and "Tasty spicy miso flavor" (1,870 yen). *Prices are per person. Orders can be made for two or more people.

This time I chose the classic soy sauce flavor.

The soup is sweet and rich in flavor.

The longer it simmers, the sweetness of the offal and vegetables will come out, creating the perfect soup.

Chili peppers are served separately, so those with children or who don't like spicy food can adjust the amount of their food.

The ingredients are the standard: offal, chives, cabbage, shredded burdock, and tofu.

The innards are really fluffy and not at all mushy and hard to chew. They melt in your mouth in no time!

Garlic is an essential ingredient in motsunabe, but many people are concerned about the smell.

This restaurant uses "Fukuchi White," which is famous for being "a garlic with a low after-meal odor." The aroma and richness of the garlic is the same as when you eat it! If you like garlic, we recommend adding more garlic.

Once you've finished eating, it's time to finish off.

They have "Ojiya" (330 yen), "Cheese Ojiya" (360 yen), "Champon" (286 yen), "Ramen" (286 yen), and "Dandan Noodle Style" (330 yen). This time, I went for the "Champon" and "Cheese Ojiya".

The champon is medium-thick and very satisfying.

Cheese rice porridge comes with rice, cheese, and shredded seaweed served separately.

Put them in order and cook until the cheese melts and it becomes a truly Italian rice porridge.

It was simple yet delicious, and the kids loved it.

In addition to the "Motsunabe," there is a wide variety of "Grilled Offal" dishes on the menu, including "Pig's Trotters" (590 yen) with a crispy, fragrant skin and soft, tender inside, "Salt-Grilled Wagyu Beef Tail" (1,980 yen), and the soft yet chewy "Charbroiled Miyazaki Jidori Chicken" (990 yen).

Among them, the izakaya standard menu item "Cheese Yamaimo Teppan" (682 yen) is a must-try.

It comes with or without cheese, but since we love cheese in our house, this was the perfect choice!

My daughter had a blast with the fluffy yam and stretchy cheese.

Everything was so delicious and filled my stomach and my heart.
