[New Cafe in Tenjin Area] Cute and delicious! New and trendy sweets to eat while walking around

Hello. I'm Masaki, a writer who loves hidden gourmet spots.

This time, we will introduce sweets that are perfect for eating on the go, which have just appeared at a cafe in Daimyo, Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City.

Grand opening in September 2024! The much talked about backstreet cafe "patissrie et cafe hedera" (Daimyo, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

Patissrie et Cafe Hedera is located at the end of an alley on Daimyo Konyamachi Street, about 7 minutes from Akasaka Station on the Subway Kuko Line.

"Night Parfait x Curry x BAR YOLO" has been renovated and transformed into a cafe serving original sweets called "Pavlo Batel," and will have its grand opening in September 2024.

This is a sister store of the popular cafe next door, "Marbre Blanc."

Invented by a pastry chef! "Pavlovateil" is a bar version of the sweet "Pavlova"

Their signature product, "Pavlova Tail," is an original sweet that combines a bar with a pavlova, a low-calorie snack that does not use flour or butter and originates in Australia and New Zealand. The owner, a pastry chef, named it "Pavlova Tail" because he saw the bar as a tail.

The base is a special meringue that is slowly baked at low temperature, and it is topped with plenty of fresh Hokkaido cream and fruit.

In addition to "Pavlova Vanilla" (550 yen), "Banana Chocolate Caramel" (620 yen), "Pudding A La Mode" (770 yen), and "Berry Cheesecake" (770 yen),

There are eight standard flavors, including "Berry Lemon Curd" (750 yen) and "Grape and White Wine Jelly" (760 yen). Seasonal limited flavors are also available.

*The "Matcha Dainagon Marron Mochi" in the menu photo above is no longer available, but "Strawberry x Grape" (830 yen) has been added.

There is also the "Pavlovate Twin" (880 yen each), which comes in six different flavors in half-size portions.

Pavlovateil offers eat-in service and take-out. It also has a bar, so it's great for eating on the go.

We tried two flavors of Pavlovateil: "Strawberry Shortcake" and "Macadamia Brownie."

I ordered the shop's most popular item, the Strawberry Shortcake (770 yen) and the Macadamia Brownie (800 yen).

The "Strawberry Shortcake" is made with baked meringue dough beautifully topped with strawberries, berries, fresh cream, pistachios, and rusks.

The meringue is crispy and light. I was surprised when I picked it up because it was lighter than I expected.

The sweet and sour taste of the fruit goes really well with the sweetness of the cream and meringue.

"Macadamia Brownie" is recommended for chocolate lovers.

It was topped with special meringue, brownies with macadamia nuts on top of fresh cream, fresh chocolate, chocolate sauce, strawberries, blueberries, and more.

It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

In addition to the Pavlovateil, they also sell weekday-only cream puffs (120 yen each), parfaits, baked goods, and more.
