[Fukuoka Morning] Free refills of bread! A hearty plate from a popular bakery

This time, we will introduce the morning menu at a very popular bakery located in Kego, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City.

Very popular! Hiroshima-based bakery "companion plants Fukuoka store" (Kego, Chuo-ku, Fukuoka City)

The bakery cafe "companion plants Fukuoka" is located about an 8-minute walk from Yakuin Odori Station on the Nanakuma Subway Line. This is a very popular store in Hiroshima, and the Fukuoka store is the second store that opened in March 2024.

The display case is lined with delicious-looking breads! They use only domestic wheat and no food additives. They also make their own fillings using vegetables and fruits delivered directly from contracted farmers. They even make their own ham and bacon in-house. They have a wide variety of breads, from the classics to savory dishes and sweets. Freshly baked breads are brought out one after another from the workshop at the back of the store.

The recommended item is the "Kyukon Bread" (290 yen), which is made to resemble a bulb. It is the most popular salted bread.

The fluffy texture and the sweetness of the butter and the perfect amount of saltiness are irresistible! The green wrapping paper is also cute ♡

You can't miss the "Salut" croissant (320 yen), which has an eye-catching look with its many layers of dough! It has a crispy texture and a rich buttery aroma.

There was also a wide selection of donuts.

The eat-in space has about 30 seats. With plenty of greenery and a mural by artist Ayumi Hidaka, it's a relaxing space to visit.

The aisles are wide and stroller-friendly, making it a very child-friendly facility.

For an additional 200 yen, you can have as much delicious bread as you like! "Morning Plate" filled with fresh vegetables

What I'm looking forward to is the "Morning Plate" (1,000 yen) that can be enjoyed from 9:00 to 11:00. For an additional 200 yen, you can get an unlimited amount of "bread platter"!

I also added a drink to the set for an additional 350 yen.

The basic plate comes with a soft-boiled fried egg, bread, seasonal soup, ham, and a generous salad including grilled vegetables.

It is also recommended to enjoy it as a sandwich by putting vegetables and a fried egg between the bread.

The seasonal soup on this day was silk sweet soup. I was able to fully enjoy the natural sweetness of the sweet potato and it was delicious.

For an additional 200 yen, you can have as many refills as you like with the "Bread Platter," which comes with a plate of three kinds of sliced bread and mascarpone butter.

The staff will be presenting their recommended bread from a selection of about 17 different types, so it's a surprise! On this day, they also had the previously introduced "Salut" ♡ It was cut into pieces, so I was happy to be able to enjoy a variety of flavors to my heart's content.

For drinks, I selected the "Chai Milk Tea" (normal price 550 yen / set price 350 yen). The homemade ginger syrup really kicked it up, and the gentle sweetness was perfect for a cold day!

The healthy and filling "Morning Plate" was very satisfying, with plenty of delicious vegetables and bread.

From 11:00 to 14:30, the "Lunch Plate" (1,300 yen) is available. For an additional 200 yen, you can also enjoy unlimited refills of the "Bread Plate."
